"Mistletoe," Padma told Dean matter-of-factly, pointing above their heads.
"Oh," Dean said, feeling a blush creep up onto his face. He ran a hand through his hair and tried to find something interesting with the way the floor was so flat and how it could keep him stuck on the ground even though he felt like floating. "We don't have to, you know," he mumbled, wondering why he had to do the gentlemanly thing.
Padma smiled that enigmatic smile of hers and leaned on tiptoe to touch lips softly to Dean's.
"Oh, but it's tradition," she whispered with a smile.
