Title: no need for nervousness (it's just a little turbulence)
Creator username (LJ or tumblr, etc.): [livejournal.com profile] slumber (Tumblr user slumber-at)
Pairing(s): Stiles/Danny, Scott/Allison, Ethan/Danny
Rating: Teen and up
Word Count: ~19,000
Notes: Many many thanks to my beta [livejournal.com profile] wasureneba, [livejournal.com profile] theaeblackthorn for encouraging me to sign up, [livejournal.com profile] lautre_m for the awesome prompt that launched almost 20k words, and the mods for running this amazing fest!
Summary: In which Stiles is a conman for hire, Danny is the hacker of his dreams, and Argent Industries is their target.

( 'This is not what I signed up for,' Danny reminds Stiles for the umpteenth time. Stils is tying Danny's tie in the worst possible way, but Danny feels awkward enough as it is so he just lets him mangle it. He's nervous as fuck and he can't figure out if it's because of what they're about to do or because Stiles's hands are on him. )

Title: we are not shining stars
Fandom: Harry Potter
Characters: Susan Bones, Ernie Macmillan, Zacharias Smith, Hannah Abbott, Megan Jones, Justin Finch-Fletchley
Rating: PG
Word Count: 2344
Summary: This was not how their last year at Hogwarts was supposed to go.
Additional Notes: Title taken from fun.'s Carry On, which could be a Hufflepuff anthem. Thanks go to [livejournal.com profile] ccharlotte for letting me email her bits and pieces of this before this was done, [livejournal.com profile] intrepidy for the beta, and Hufflepuffs for generally being brilliant. Originally written for [livejournal.com profile] hogwarts_houses and posted here.

( It is only the first week of the new term and Susan thinks they must have been right, must have known what was going to happen. Dumbledore is dead and Hogwarts, she hears, is surrounded by Death Eaters and Dementors. )

Title: Lady Luck
Fandom: Harry Potter
Characters: Cormac McLaggen, Katie Bell, various others
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 2304
Summary: His heart's in the right place. It's just his execution that leaves a lot to be desired.
Additional Notes: Do you ever get those days when you sit down to write one story and something else pops out? Yeah, that was this. Huge thanks to [livejournal.com profile] ccharlotte, always, and [livejournal.com profile] thegrownupthing for the beta. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] iulia_linnea for giving me an outlet to explore my Cormac feels and, of course, for organizing one of my favorite fests ever. Pairing: Zacharias/Pansy
Rating: PG-13 (for language)
Word Count: ~14,000
Summary: "In case you were wondering," she says once they're both settled at the kitchen table, hands wrapped around warm mugs of tea, "I haven't got any designs on your family name."

"Didn't think you did, but glad to hear it all the same."

"I'd rather be destitute and dishonorable than birth potential Hufflepuffs."
Notes:Written for [livejournal.com profile] het_bigbang. Beta'd by the lovely [livejournal.com profile] y3llowdaisi3s and [livejournal.com profile] kalisgirl.

Title: Dead Men Walking
Characters: Harry, Luna, Theodore, Zacharias
Rating: PG-13 for violence
Word Count: 4521
Summary: Of all the things that she believes in, Luna Lovegood wants this on record: she is very sorry it's the zombies that turn out to be real.
Additional Notes: SO. MUCH. FUN. Written for [livejournal.com profile] hp_zombiefest and originally posted here. Thanks to C & S for their feedback, and A for the eagle-eyed beta job. ♥ Hope you enjoy reading!

It is in Harry Potter's humble opinion that he’s spent an inordinate amount of his life waking up in hospitals. )

Title: The Seven Grievances of Terry Boot
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Terry/various (slash and het)
Beta Reader(s): [livejournal.com profile] sinarie
Word Count: 6717
Rating: PG-13
(Highlight to View) Warning(s): None..
Note: This is for all the Ravenclaws I've loved before. Thanks to S for inspiring the version of Justin FF that shows up here, and L for sharing my love for Terry Boot (and helping prod this story into form). JKR had listed Terry down as a Muggleborn in her notes, and while she had a lot of notes that didn't make the "final cut", I think it's interesting to try and make everything she said fit anyway. Written for [livejournal.com profile] hogwarts_houses, originally posted here. This is also something of a backstory that I started writing in 2009 for Salvation by Slytherin, albeit this is more focused on Terry than the other three boys.
Summary: Before he got on the train his mother had pulled him into a hug and told him she knew he'd always been special, and she was sure he'd do very well in all his classes regardless of the subject, and his father laughed and wondered how many versions of Abra Cadabra Terry would have to memorise. When he wrote a few weeks later to explain there was actually a fair amount of Latin to remember, his father's reply included a hint of going on to be a doctor.

Hogwarts turned out to be real after all, though quite honestly, not nearly as good as it sounded on paper—sorry, parchment. )

Title: Unsettled
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Theodore/Susan, Theodore/Daphne, a dash of Oliver/Katie
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: ~3100
Summary: The war is over, but it doesn't feel like it's truly ended.
Additional Notes: Written for the community at [livejournal.com profile] hp_spring_fling. Many, many thanks to my beta, Ashvarden, who helped shape and prod this into readable form. The request I had asked for a tone more somber than I was used to writing, and this had been an interesting exercise in restraint versus... whatever its opposite was. Erm. So yeah.

The Nott Manor had never been one to inspire feelings of cheer and fuzziness. )

Title: How I Married Your Mother
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Draco/Astoria, some Theodore/Daphne, Blaise/Pansy, Roger/Astoria
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: ~7500
Summary: When Daphne and Theodore get engaged, making sure Astoria follows through with maid-of-honor duties becomes the best man's responsibility. But aiding and abetting was hardly what Draco signed up for.
Additional Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] hp_canon_fest for the prompt "Asteria is a criminal mastermind, Draco is her reluctant sidekick. The crime in question could be the heist of the century or something as simple as stealing an apple. Means, motivation, success up to the author." Original posting can be found here, although in this version I switched the spelling back to Astoria. My betas [livejournal.com profile] carlyinrome and [livejournal.com profile] todaythesamesky did rock star stuff for me! Any further mistakes are mine post-beta. Also, the shameless allusion to a popular prime time TV show sort of extends past the title.

This is the story of how I married your mother. )

Title: Five Things That Katie Bell Did Not Sign Up For
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Roger/Katie
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 2200~

Additional Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] purelush as a pinch-hit for the first [livejournal.com profile] clever_claws fest. First posted here. Much thanks to [livejournal.com profile] hockeysaurus for the beta.

Title: Do You Believe in Snorkacks?
Fandom: Harry Potter
Author-turned-pseudo-artist: [livejournal.com profile] slumber
Pairing: Luna/Hermione
Rating: PG13
Medium: Colored markers
Summary: "You'll need to be very, very quiet, or else the crumple-horned snorkacks will take more than your shoes."
Additional Notes: Drawn for [livejournal.com profile] hpsauce at [livejournal.com profile] hp_april_fools over at IJ. Started out completely different (and much more detailed) in my head but lack of art materials, proper scanning tools, Photoshop skills, and actual artistic ability produced this instead. LOL. Title: Winter Season
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Adrian/Miles
Rating: PG 13 for language
Word Count: 365
Summary: Adrian doesn't like the cold.
Additional Notes: Again, written for [livejournal.com profile] hp_kris_kringle. I've at least two more ficlets written for that comm, pretty soon I'll put up new stuff. Ish. I protest that no one is online, and I can't log into Y!M. Oh my GOD, WHERE is EVERYONE? *slumps* I protest that I lost my Photoshop, and no one seems to be able to lend me theirs. All I've been doing offline is listening to music (sustains me) and playing Solitaire (am in TEARS). You can also tell that the reason I posted fic was so I can rant. :|

PS. OMG I will DIE of boredom COME ONLINE and GMAIL ME.

Adrian despised the cold. He hated the draft of icy wind that made its way down the depths of the Slytherin dungeons at night, the harsh chill of the stone walls of their dormitory. He loathed the freezing air, the icy droplets of rain that seeped through the fabric of his Quidditch robes and through his skin. The cold went straight to his bone, piercing right through skin to freeze his soul.

"Fucking weather, fucking cold," he cursed, slamming the door to the Slytherin showers after their match against Ravenclaw. His sight had been heavily crippled by the heavy fall of rain, and he'd fumbled a few passes and threw the Quaffle towards Ravenclaw chasers instead. It hadn't been a good match, although they'd won by thirty points.

"Go ahead, Pucey. Blame the weather instead of your abysmal Quidditch skills."

Adrian looked up to see Miles Bletchley sneering at him from the shower stall, arms crossed as he leant back against the wall, a dark green towel wrapped around his slim waist. Adrian narrowed his eyes, saying nothing as he jerked off his protective caps and pulled off his robes.

"Like you fared any better. I can't believe you let those Quaffles into the goalposts."

"I can't believe you threw those Quaffles into our goalposts."

"Shut up, Bletchley," Adrian snarled, shoving the boy aside as he stepped into a shower stall, cursing as his feet touched mud on the floor. "Fucking barbarians - who didn't bloody take off their bloody boots?"

"You're really not in the mood today, are you?"

"You mean you can't tell?"

Miles took a step closer to Adrian - the taller boy noted with disdain that Bletchley had rubber slippers on - and cocked his head to the side. "I can't say I can. What is your problem?" he asked, shoving Adrian back against the wall.

"Shit!" Adrian hissed as the cold shower tiles burned through his bare back. "Piss off, Bletchley, and let a man shower in bloody peace."

"Why should I?" Miles taunted, suddenly so much closer than Adrian felt marginally comfortable with, and yet, also so much warmer.

"I don't know," Adrian mumbled, and he wasn't cold anymore.

Title: Unspoken Agreements
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Fred/George, very very very slight Charlie/Hermione
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 200 words
Summary: Fred and George never talk about the one time their prank backfired on them.
Additional Notes: Written as a pinch-hitter for [livejournal.com profile] hp_kris_kringle. Will post the other pinch-hit ficlets over the next few days.

Fred and George never talked about the one time their prank backfired on them for two reasons, only secondary of which is the sheer humiliation it brought upon their reputation as pranksters to have had a joke work against them in the first place.

They never talked about it at all, in fact, not even to agree that they would never tell anybody, or to decide which of the two reasons was the primary one, or what they were to do about that one incident. Instead, the day right after the unfortunate event occurred - Friday the week before Christmas - they went about their business as if Thursday afternoon hadn't happened at all.

Fred wondered if he'd dreamt it.

George wondered if his mind had played tricks on him.

They almost convinced themselves, but when the mistletoe they'd hung above a secret corner of the living room kept Charlie and Hermione in place until they both agreed to kiss each other, Fred caught the blush in George's cheeks and George saw Fred avert his eyes. They both knew then that Fred hadn't dreamt it, and that George's mind hadn't played tricks on him.

But they never talked about it.

Title: Filling Spaces
Fandom: Queer as Folk
Spoilers: Season 2, eps 15-19 (only slightly, though)
Pairing: Ethan/Justin, only, not really
Rating: PG13
Word Count: 150 words
Summary: Tragedy's beautiful too.
Additional Notes: Supposed to explain why Ethan cheated, but I forgot about that but when I finished the drabble today. For [livejournal.com profile] siobhanohare, and substitutes like Ethan. You've my love.

Justin smiles at him, lips curling up in his should-be-patented sunshine smile, and Ethan thinks it's love.

And it is, it should be, the sort of mad passionate love that artists feel and live and create, the sort that masterpieces are made of, because Justin follows him and kisses him and Ethan thinks it can't be anything else but love.

It is love, with enough fire to warm endless nights under the stars, enough fire to blaze endless nights under the earth, even when Justin shifts his gaze and tries hard to cry out Ethan's name when he knows, when they both know. Even then.

And Ethan thinks, with Justin snuggled up next to him, sated but not wholly, that there's something madly passionate and poetic about filling spaces too.

It's still love anyway, isn't it, Ethan wonders. Justin only breathes in reply, and Ethan thinks it has to be.

Title: Undercurrents
Pairing: Blaise/Terry
Rating: PG13
Word Count: 1700 words
Warnings: Language, Possible Parenthesis Abuse
Summary: Terry's fifth year is terrible--he isn't prefect, there's some stupid defense club going around, and all Hogwarts Houses are a disgrace, among other things.
Additional Notes: Originally titled TerryFic, but later scrapped because Terry would spork me for being a dork. :| It's subtle slash and it alludes more than anything. Subject to editing. Concrit is welcome, thanks.
Edit: For [livejournal.com profile] fanfic100, for the prompt And.
