by the way, did i say i was going to DC?

I decided two weeks ago, purely on whim, to visit the capital after Terminus. So, um. As of 1 hour before departing for the airport, I have:

• my boarding pass
  
• the confirmation number for the hostel
  
• a mostly packed bag
  
• dressed myself

I don't have:

• directions from the DC airport to the hostel
  
• any other plans

This is the sort of thing that will either be made of epic failure or epic win. Wah or wahoo.

Some things that are pretty cool in DC:
-National Portrait Gallery
-Smithsonian Museum (There are so many different ones.)
-National Building Museum
-The Spy Museum
-Georgetown(?) Flea Market

Grab one of those free "To do in DC" type books. Those type of things usually rock.

I've gone to the National Portrait Gallery and will be at the Spy Museum tomorrow. I was hoping to go on a Georgetown tour tomorrow night but apparently it was moved to Monday and they didn't say that on their website. :( I went to the Holocaust Museum today though and it was awesome in a chilly, creepy sort of way.
