• I GOT MY DRIVER'S LICENSE LAST FRIDAY! 7 hours of actual driving practice with an instructor... yeah, uhm, it's less about my driving and more about Chicago's RIDICULOUSLY LOW STANDARDS FOR THEIR ROAD TEST. Seriously, all the lady made me do was park behind a car, turn the wheel wherever I needed to turn it if I were park downhill, drive around a block, go through traffic cones and reverse in a straight line, and park. NOTHING on parallel parking, three-point turns, etc.
  
  
• I got my smutty_claus assignment and I am kind of excited to do it!

We don't have parallel parking and three-point turns on our test, either, but yours sounds way easier; I had to drive all over town!

... yeah, my hope is my own driving test plays out similarly to yours. I doubt very much it will, however. Congrats, though :D ♥

Thanks. :) And maybe try to do a little research about where your test takes place? I'm sure other people will have tips about the route and whatnot, since I doubt they'd take the time to change it up. I had to go through a driving school and they knew the route we'd be taking so we practiced it twice before I actually went in for the test... :|

congrats! i failed mine twice because the DMV here are totally anal. i did come to a full stop, dammit! (still angry, a trillion years later)

so what type of ride are you going to tear up the asphalt in?
