Happiness is Slash

Just some random squee-ing. I have just finished watching season 3 of Queer as Folk, and, well, *squees*. So adorable. I love the show, I really do. And Brian Brian Brian, I hate being cliche, is my absolute favorite. Every single time he does something on the show, I either cheer, nod, or completely understand. *waves Brian flag* Someday I hope to be as ruthless, selfish, and successful as him.

I just borrowed Maurice!!! *is excited* Am bouncing in excitement. Hee. :P My first real queer lit! Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] unrouen!

My university's film center is holding a Pink Film Festival soon. Queer movies YAY! I hope they have Happy Together there or something. Wilde doesn't seem top be included in the list, but hopefully they can show that movie I wanted to watch last year, .. Days of Sodom or something.

Two of my gay friends are have good things happening to them right now, which is reason for why I feel so happy today. One has finally finally finally got a boyfriend, his first in 21 or 22 years of existence, and I couldn't be happier. He was talking about the boyfriend a while ago, and you can tell he's perfectly content. The other friend has gotten up the nerve to ask out a friend and today they went on their first date. I hope they had plenty of fun, and I hope they end up on more dates. :D *cheers for friend*

Happiness is pretty contagious, I've noticed. Hee. *spreads love to flist*

Hi slumber! This is, oddly enough, Simone2677 from FAP (author of True Nature of Love if that helps). I'm going on a friending spree and would love to add you to my list (I'm new to the LJ thing).:D On to Queer as Folk...Gods I adore that show. I had to ignore your comments on season three because I haven't seen it yet (lowly student who can't afford Showtime...*sigh). I want to buy seasons two and three on DVD (I already have season one) but good lord, it costs over one hundred dollars. Why? The only other show that is that expensive is Star Trek.

Hi! *friends* Don't worry, nothing spoilerish about Season 3 on this post. :P And as for me, I just borrowed a friend's VCD set from seasons 1 through 3, and where he bought it, all three seasons cost about $26. But it's VCD copy, in the Philippines, and not original. Hee. :P
