Today + IT Squee-age and Overenthusiastic Linking
I'm putting this in as my August 27 entry, although it is already August 28, because I had every intention of writing this on the 27th and if I hadn't slept through it--well.
Went to a conference of sorts a while ago, for student leaders, thus I managed to spend the day in an airconditioned room zoning out ever so often. I tried to keep myself awake, mind, had two itsy bitsy cups of coffee (actually, it's "The Coffee That Isn't. Got it? Get it." as translated from its tagline.) and was a bit perky for a while, then that was over.
The conference was actually quite good. Well, a few of the speakers were. We had this senator over, and I had a hard time deciding what I really thought about him. *doesn't trust people easily* Then this Economics professor comes up too, and she was brilliant also. So yay. :P

isolation_tower now has its Truth or Dare challenge mostly up! *squeeyaysquee*
Again, you should all friend IT. Like, right now. It's absolutely fabulous, and FUN!!! (which is what RPGs are supposed to be so whee!), and plenty slashy. :P
Highlights Almost-Summary of the Truth or Dare:
Justin dares Zacharias to kiss him.
Terry gets jealous.
Ron becomes unoriginal with Dares, and unwittingly unleashes MORE ISSUES.
Blaise and Ron strike a strange friendship.
And Ron is so far back in the closet, he may very well be all the way in the Shrieking Shack by now.
Terry doesn't really know what's going on.
Justin's heart breaks.
So does Terry's.
But Michael and Zacharias are fine now.
Nobody remembers they're still playing Truth or Dare. ;P
ETA: Michael does, apparently, in an effort to save face.
So, the point is: FRIENDisolation_tower NOW. We shall be having nominations THIS WEEKEND and OMG you shall pick who gets kicked out!!! (If that isn't wicked, and brilliant, and Teh COOL, I don't know what is. :D)
*proceeds to put RPs in memories*
ALSO, have done a bit of editing with the links in my layout to include my RPGs and the ones I like watching. Aren't I clever? ;P
PS. I hate it when YIM does that knocking sound to tell me someone on my contacts list is online, but when I go check to see who it is, it isn't the one I'm expecting to get online. Woe. (To be fair, the people who do get online I have no problem with, except they're for RPGs and well, we're not starting yet. :P)
ETA 2: I shall be back in seventeen hours. 2pm GMT time. Woe.
