Hello, this is for satisfying my friend [livejournal.com profile] marauderthesn's curiosity.

She posted a poll recently in FAP, wondering about this topic as it seems to have come up more and more since the PoA movie, and she also wants to see people's ideas. It was unfortunately closed down because the discussion might lead to libel issues regarding Steve Kloves.

Marauder said: "I understand why she closed it, but how many times since the PoA movie (and even before) have people in the Harry Potter fandom heard speculation that Steve Kloves is a bit of a Lewis Carroll? I've personally heard it alluded to and mentioned about eight million times. Is it true? I have no idea. I thought it would be interesting to have a poll and see what the "official" results were for how many people believe it's true. Because from what I've heard, it seems to be quite a few."

So, for curiosity's sake, I offered to post the poll for her here instead, so she could see what people generally thought. Personally, I haven't heard much about this, but I've never been one to follow interviews and whatnot, but if anybody has ideas or opinions, you can vote on this poll.

The mod who closed down the poll, though, has a point, and I'd like to avoid libel issues, so please do try to hold back your opinions of him, exactly, and focus more on the fascination. Or something. I reserve the right to delete anything that may be libelous.

Also?

Disclaimer: None of the opinions to be stated herein are necessarily mine, I am only opening this poll to see what everyone else thinks.

I didn't even know that the issue, the topic, was ever a topic.

I voted for number 1. I'll have to wait for GoF to truly convince me of my hunch but yes I do think he's not only a bit fasinated with Hermione, he's a bit fasinated with Emma. I'll have to wait for GoF and see if he completely makes it "Hermione Granger and the Goblet of Fire" before I'm sure of it though.

This is actually an issue? Oh well. I think I'm leaning towards option number one though...

I voted number 3, because I was in between yes and no. I'll wait for GoF...which I'm so excited for because of the R/Hr fight scene! :is a nerd: xo, H
