My schedule sucks. I mean, it really really does. So much that I am always in a state of FRAZZLEFLAILPANIC whenever I get to school. Not On.
Last week I realised I have issues with Asking For Things, because I'd been railing on about how my brother got a friggin' computer the summer after he got a C and I delivered my valedictory address, and how he always has the latest model for his cellphone while I'm stuck with the ones that aren't even coloured, and how he always got expensive toys when all I had were books.
"You need a therapist," David said. "Congratulations, you're a real Power Lesbian now."
Then David pointed out that I had to ask for things to get them.
Oh.
I don't like asking for anything because it always puts what I feel is unnecessary obligation upon a person, and I hate inconveniencing people, but this meme here says there are no obligations, no expectations, etc, so I guess it doesn't hurt if I do this now.

Step One
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

1. A flip phone
2. Queer/Subtextual movies
3. Queer as Folk season 4
4. A Skyehawke account
5. Courage (No, seriously. Wizard of Oz, anyone? Hee.)
6. A Significant Other (It's a Libran thing, haha.)
7. Time. In bucketloads, PLEASE. (The number of times I've wished for a Time Turner...)
8. CDs. I just want something nice I could listen to, as I am musically inept.
9. Paid accounts. Because I am a greedy little bitch and I don't know whether I want to have more user pics here or more paid time here or paid time for creativeslumber or for any of my RPG LJs.
10. Jude Law. I can't help it. I mean, guh. GUH. GUH. (or, barring that, books. LOL.)
As for the drabbles, well, I still have about at least seventeen more to go, thirty-one if I do all of the drabbles you guys requested. It's do-able, but I think I have to really limit myself to one hundred words a drabble. I think I got carried away in some.
