slumberAfter tinkering around with S2 layouts, S1 makes me want to cry. Which is straaaaange, considering I only, for the most part, C&Ped a layout I'd already used ages ago. Nothing seems to be happening, though. *pokes stupid S1 layout*
Charli, I think it's done. Maybe it'll work on yours and the wonkiness is all mine. Bah. *sulks a little* Check it out, though?
I am so so so tempted to log into YM right now, but I will sleep. For two hours. Or three. Or four. I have time.No, not really. And then I'll wake up and THEN I swear, I'll really start working on the homework I was assigned two weeks ago. *cries* I hate my course. It is despicable and I will grow up miserable if I don't do anything about it. And OH SHIT. I have to follow up on more work.
Tomorrow I go back to school. It will not be pleasant, this transition.

creativeslumber a paid account yesterday. It is a day old now, and I am in love with its header, never mind that that isn't really Dream. :P Have baptised it by posting Kill Bill femmeslash.
And Tuesday I get a bookcase, FINALLY. I've been begging for one since I realised the only way to store my books is to tip a rectangular and plastic basket on its side and use that as a makeshift bookcase. :\ And I hate it when all my books are scattered all over the place, so hurrah for the bookcase!
I've a hierarchy of books, it turns out. This one has the nice place with the sliding glass bit, but these are the books I won't be rereading anytime soon. I am ashamed to say FotR is in here, but only because I've never gathered enough interest to read through it! And also, some books I snuck out of my high school library. Oh don't look at me like that, no one was reading them! I'm pretty sure the last check-out date in those was 1989; some of you weren't even BORN then. And Anne Rice. Some of what she'd written were good, but let's face it, I was there for the slash and she's a bitch. And anime VCDs. I bought sets that were dubbed in Japanese and subtitled in Chinese. Please don't ask me why, I've no idea either. They were cheap, though.
This is the makeshift bookshelf, just beside my bed, sort of. This is where I'll put my new bookcase in come Tuesday. :D These are the books I love reading and must be able to get to easily. HP books at the bottom, but dude. Gaiman above all. Also, yes, I have a stack of anime CDs from my high school days. I never knew Japanese but I sang along, all of the time. It surprises me that I cans till sort of remember some lyrics, even though I didn't really lovelovelove the songs. The scroll at the back's from Japan. I wrote it for the calligraphy class, and then the teacher put it on a scroll for me. My classmates said I was lucky. I said if he'd put something he'd written himself on a scroll for me then I'd be even luckier. I mean. Honestly. I cringe every time I see it, but it's on a scroll and OMG how cool is that? Conflicted, I am.
My favourite part. These are the books I really really adore and the ones I am currently reading. Besides, I only just organised this part a couple of days ago. :P There's a couple from The HitchHiker's Guide, which I have to return, Lamb, Rainbow Boys, The Princess Bride, etc. At Swim's on my to-read list, as is The Golem's Eye and The Golden Compass and Sandman Book of Dreams. Am currently busy with Smoke and Mirrors, though. There are VCDs in the back, as you can see with the little "Love Actually" sign. I'm pretty sure The Princess Bride and Big Fish are right beside it, but there was no space to put that anymore. :P
By Tuesday these shall all be in one big happy bookcase. Whee!
