I have midterms in 13 and a half hours and I've no idea how the hell I'm supposed to study for it. I've compiled my notes and will be printing them tomorrow at school but I'm missing one lecture. Hahahahahawoe.

OHH!!! I've received letters and a card from idroppedarice, postingwhore, and ninotsjka_bloom. Thanks, guys! <3 Rice and Misty, I'll reply to your letters soon, promise! :P

Hah. Had a most fruitful day. Ish. I played around e-messenger.net in class (they've extended service to YM and AIM, I am in love again!), though I couldn't use it much because my computer screen was visible from where our professor was standing. I DID get to talk to Raphie a bit. <3

Sometime after lunch I went to this spot in our campus where my friend unrouen spends her quiet time. Wasn't quite as quiet with two people, I AM sorry for disturbing the peace, BUT it was quite therapeutic, with leaves and sky and trees and grass. I never have enough sounding boards these days, thanks dude, though I never got to tell you exactly what was so funny about the 'sacred place'. (I saw it from the corner of my eye and the thought sacred place registered in my head, so I ALMOST made the sign of the cross before I realised that wtf, that's NOT a church! XP)

Am almost done with QaF UK. Loved these bits, paraphrased from memory:

Macri said her classmate reminded her of Blaise, and I went "guh" on her in this REALLY embarrassing sort of groany moan sort of thing. *dies*)

Stuart (aka Brian-type): You collect old videos of cheap science fiction, work in a boring job, what else is there? Who could possibly love you?
Vince: *nods* Yeeeaaah.
Stuart: Well it was good enough for me.

ALTHOUGH, somehow the idea of an always-platonic friendship for them's beginning to grow on me too, except I KNOW Michael will always be the most important thing for Brian, even if they never fuck. ESPECIALLY because they never fuck.

That's my Important Revelation for the week: Platonic friendship will always be greater than romantic love.

Ahh, I've no idea. Unless both are strict on the terms of their unplatonic, non-relationship friendship, I think it's likely for issues to build up and stuff, m'not quite sure where to place it though. XP

Secondly - ohmygodQaFUK!!!!! Ahem, sorry. I bought the Collector's Edition Boxset in the January sales, and spent all of last weekend watching my way through them. I had watched them all when they first were on TV, and I had forgotten how much I loved it. I am a tad obsessed with Stuart/Vince at the moment.

My favourite line of the entire series, without contest -

Nathan's Dad: He's only 15!
Stuart: Yeah, well, my Jeep's only 6 months old, and you've still buggered it!

Classic. ;) I've never seen the US QaF, but I really want to, just to see the differences. One day, when I'm rich/have a multi-region DVD player.

As for the gay flicks well, good luck on finishing the uk version... just... just... don't watch it when I can 100% say they're gay :)

Best effing midterms in the world, promise. Two essay questions, I didn't even have to really look at my notes (open notes, dude) and a funky bonus question. I love essay tests.

It was just one episode left, haha. And the US version was loads pornier.

Really? Well, it has its moments, but I think I still prefer the US version. The second season's ending was a bit strange, but the end of S1 was perfect, imho. :P But yes, you ought to see both anyway. ;)
