My advice would be to pick one that you really like, but which is at a reasonable price. Then, when you ask your parents, ask for a really really expensive one which you don't really want, but know they'll never spend so much money on. When they refuse, act annoyed, and go on and on about it for a while. Then, finally, sigh and say "OK...how about this one then? It's a lot cheaper, and not as good as the expensive one, but I suppose..." and point out the one you actually want. They'll be so glad to see that it's inexpensive (at least compared to the first one) that they're more likely to buy it for you!
