I hate feeling like I'm using pretty much the same moods (Which is ironic, considering my current moodtheme :|) but I really find myself amused most of the time, so I really can't help it. I'm amused, for a number of reasons.
- Memes are my guilty pleasure. There's the BRUTAL HONESTY MEME that sadly maxed out on comments so soon, a kindness meme I'm not bothering to link to because there is, I have realised upon contemplation, enough saccharine love going about in eljay, whether you're willing to see it or not, already, a Death Meme in
d_angel777's journal, and an LJ Awards Meme over by
_allshallfade.
They're all rather amusing, I assure you, but all I really want is the BRUTAL HONESTY, so you know what?ANON COMMENTS ON. IP LOGGING OFF. BE BRUTALLY HONEST HERE.
I know us nice girls always need some sort of bitchy release. Fire away.
Yeah, this'll be the third time I've asked. :| - Attitude Icons that I've been sort of making on the side. I have only come up with four, sadly, and do not really like the way they look all that much, but I love what they say.

- Funnily Cranky Songs which I have somehow stumbled upon in the last few days, all through different means.
There's Emo Kid by Adam and Andrew, which is really funny because of the way it's sung. (Stop my breathing and slit my throat, I must be emo. I don't jump around when I go to shows, I must be emo.)
There's also Mockingbird by Low Millions, which is really funny for those people who have ever received mixed signals from someone before. You can just hear the exasperation. Check it out:
You say you love me but you don't love me,
You say you hate me but you don't hate me,
You say you'll leave me but you can't leave me,
Because you love me, What's it gonna be?
What is wrong with you is what is wrong with me
Oh my god, I think I've actually lost the plot
Oh my god, my brain is fried and my nerves are shot
And of course, Ugly Girl by Fiona Apple, which a friend has been listening to ever since her boyfriend of two years dumped her for a girl nine years his junior. (Which makes her 14.) It is so hilarious. (I feel better thinking you were queer, it's not faaaaair, I can't compare to an ugly girl) - Webcomics and Blog-site Thingies because it gives me something to do when I've got no one to talk to. I've been reading Questionable Content and Diesel Sweeties and now look forward to the daily updates. On the other hand, I've also just been linked to Cyanide and Happiness, which is randomlyfunny!love. Overheard in New York is also another daily update of amusement.
- Downloading from BitTorrent which I really should have started doing AGES ago, only David just taught me how a few days ago. I have since acquired a few of the last House episodes I'd been missing, Sin City comics, Marvel 1602, Transmetropolitan which is the whole point of learning how to use BitComet, I suppose, and a few of South Park Season 10. Wheeeeeeeee downloads. Love them, love them.
ADORE them.

Date: 2006-06-06 01:15 am (UTC)Yeah, I shop at Hot Topic. *facepalm* I swear I'm normal.I have QC bookmarked, but just haven't started reading it yet. I shall do that this weekend, if I can remember.
Still nothing brutally honest to say... except I agree with your later post about the people whining about what got said about them. And I think it's kind of funny, because some of the people on my flist are getting so mad at each other about the whole thing. Ahaha, drama.

Date: 2006-06-06 03:03 am (UTC)That's a lot of reading, lol, I think I worked through it for a few days, but that was also because I got distracted so easily. What I like about it is that the artwork evolved into a pretty decent comic. :P
Yeesh, really? I love watching drama in real time. :|
