I will number things, because they are not related and may confuse people.

1. I am a vote count volunteer! That means that during the elections, I will be helping tally elections results and making sure nobody else intervenes. This is under NAMFREL (National Movement for Free Elections), our nation's election watchdog, so I am feeling particularly patriotic at the moment. Does the US have this kind of thing too? Because, you know, if people are concerned for elections, maybe this kind of action can help. :)

2. People should look into wrestler slash. I mean, I'm pretty sure it exists, but I am scared that the only place I can go look for it is FF.N. No, wait, they're not taking in real people fiction anymore, are they? I have to google for wrestler slash? Because really, two half-naked men, sweating and panting, standing face to face with obvious tension crackling in the air between them does not merely spell the normal kind of wrestling. It is just wrong to make a slasher stand by and watch and expect her to take everything in as it is.

3. Meme-age! I like gacking from [livejournal.com profile] klave. :D

1: Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says:

From Anne Rice's "The Vampire Lestat":
"Well, that added a hell of a lot of spice!"

2: Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?

The wall.

3: What is the last thing you watched on TV?

Er... Just Shoot Me? (I'm not sure.)

4: WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what time it is:

8.30am

5: Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?

8.28am

6: With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?

Roosters. And birds. Hmm, in the suburbs? Yes, roosters and birds, definitely.

7: When did you last step outside?

Last night, when we came from an aunt's birthday dinner.

8: Before you came to this website, what did you look at?

Nothing. I went straight to LJ.

9: What are you wearing?

A yellow nighty.

10: Did you dream last night?

Yes, of picking up dollar coins in the sidewalk and then drinking juice and a really long walk with a friend.

11: When did you last laugh?

Yesterday, with my mom. I'm pretty sure we were laughing at my brother, but I can't remember why.

12: What is on the walls of the room you are in?

A lot of pictures: one of me in preparatory school, in a pageant, as a flower girl, as a toddler, during graduation ball.

A green clock that has long stopped working.

A certification of participation in a parish pageant.

A scroll of Japanese Kanji that I made by myself, which is why it is SO horrid-looking and utterly senseless.

A small whiteboard, where I put in reminders.

A cross-stitch of Garfield in a Zodiac theme: Libra, that my aunt made for me.

Beside me is my own corner of the wall where I post random stuff: a chibified anime drawing of a girl in my old high school uniform, three printed out "awards" from a class I took last summer, a small picture of my class during graduation ball, (and this I am ashamed to admit) a cut-out of Draco Malfoy from the CoS posters that my friend took from a popcorn bucket and gave me for Christmas, a string of buttons that I must fill up, and a picture of that H/Hr hug in PoA with the words "Poa: H/Hr shippy?" on the upper left and the words "You wish." on the lower right, done before the hand-holding scene was released. :P

13: Seen anything weird lately?

A dog with both its hind legs broken. Seeing it walk is both weird and sad, but I'm not sure this is "lately"... Saw this maybe during Holy Week.

14: What do you think of this quiz?

Why must this question always be asked in surveys? (This isn't a quiz.)

15: What is the last film you saw?

Paycheck, just yesterday afternoon.

16: If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?

All of Gaiman's books, and a kit of Tarot cards.

17: Tell me something about you that I don't know:

I'm pretty selfish.

18: If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?

I'd remove free will.

19: Do you like to dance?

Nope. I'm fine with waltzes, but otherwise, uh, never mind.

20: George Bush: is he a power-crazy nutcase or some one who is finally doing something that has needed to be done for years?

Megalomaniac. :D

21: Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?

Sabrina Blaise is my current favorite. I've always liked Jade, too.

21: Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?

David. Or Blaise.

22: Would you ever consider living abroad?

Yep. I have considered it, actually. I think I might, given the chance. If Singapore weren't so hot, I'd move there. Japan is looking pretty good, except I can't speak Japanese well. Maybe Holland.

1. Never watch cartoons. As Told by Ginger is femmeslashy, and it makes unsuspecting slashers want to read and/or write fic. Ditto for Kim Possible.

2. Don't turn to Fanfiction.Net. Because no matter how great the craving, and no matter how few the resources, fanfiction.net scars, possibly for life.

3. Write your own. See, more motivation.

4. Read HP femmeslash. If you see femmeslash everywhere else, why not try looking where it's plentiful?

Public Service Announcement:

I will be on LJ and FAP sabbatical indefinitely, because I have to train and I have to force myself to write, and I no longer have enough Internet cards to go by for my online stuff. LOL. I miss GnH in FAP, and I haven't posted in ages, but I'll be back soon. :)
