Skirts, Secrets, and Something Else

I looked like jailbait today. Must be the pleated denim skirt I wore three inches above my knee. (Remind me why I decided to take up social dancing for PE. Please.)

I also have a secret. Have vowed not to tell anyone until it can be told. (Am being purposefully vague.) Friends are welcome to place bets as to when I shall break down and spill, either to RL friends or LJ friends, knowing how I never could keep secrets, even about myself. *rolls eyes*

Is it just me, or is Valentine's Day coming too early? I've been around at least three couples this year, and I've gotten used to them, but lately even more are threatening to crop up.

1. Friend A, who has just gotten a rich handsome boyfriend. (He's gay, btw.)
2. Friend B, who has just asked out a friend he has had a crush on since middle of last semester. (He's gay too.)
3. Friend C, who has just had a guy confess that he likes her, in a way that's more than him liking a pet or a friend. (Cute.)
4. Friend D, who has two guys after her. Well, one guy, at least. The other just likes her. The guy who is in pursuit of her has just given her a thoughtful birthday present.

My life feels like Love Actually, except there are parts cut off and are blank--mine.
