The Good

I lost four days of my life helping organise a national debate tournament that my debate organisation FRIGGIN WON. Seriously. That made everything (including viewflist=240 and going to net cafes at 3 in the morning to do papers) worth it.

I just found out I could play DVDs on my computer! The reason I thought I couldn't was that I'd tried only once before, but it wouldn't work. So, yes. :D

There are other things, too. Can't remember. OH! Watching A Series of Unfortunate Events and making two Jude Law headers. :P

AND!!! Parents have agreed to apply for hosting a Belgian boy. I tried to convince them of it and had to talk with mother as the boy is not only gay, he's also an atheist and a vegetarian who smokes sometimes. If we get approved to host him, and I hope we do--I'm pretty close to the director of the organisation in charge of it--then he stays with us for a year starting July. *bounces*

The Bad

Bitterness. Am bitter. Bitter bitter bitter. I just need to say. Grrr.

You know I DESPISE it when I am USED. And I'm sure that wasn't the intention, but RAR, I still feel plenty used. AND I know it was ages ago, but still. There's a lot of frustration going on. What makes it worse is the negativity? Stems from my being an attention-whore, so. My fault, really.

Also. I passed up an opportunity to have a chance to go to London. :| Feel free to spork me, I SWEAR I'll try next year.

The Memey

1. Chased the wrong car down the block and realising this only when I'd caught up with the car.
2. Gone to more countries with friends than with family before turning eighteen.
3. Almost been arrested in Thailand for playing cards in a bus.
4. Gone bathing in a room and spring full of naked girls. Regularly. For ten days.
5. Was in Singapore for a grand total of five minutes. Went back again in the same day, which is against the law.
6. Won a hundred thousand pesos in a raffle as solicitor's prize. My dad won the van.
7. Worn a Sailormoon outfit for school for three weeks.
8. Been within three feet of a celebrity I have a hideously big crush on, and gotten his autograph. (Ethan Zohn)
9. Spoken for seven minutes in a television show.
10. Fallen into a canal in Japan after making a wrong turn on a bike.

Delinquencies, Diets, etc.

I am such a delinquent student. :\

Oh my GOD, I was supposed to take a quiz today, except I HADN'T GONE TO CLASS IN THE LAST SIX MEETINGS and knew COMPLETELY nothing, but it was alright, because, you know, I had an okay standing and stuff, right? So I took a crash course thirty minutes before the quiz and thought it'll be fine and dandy and stuff and I could just make it up for the finals or something.

Except.

Right there, at the top of the paper, it said, Finals, PART 1.

Christ. I am SO DOOMED.

I gained weight. Eurgh. I thought carrying heavy boxes of juice and ice and lunch and banners and stuff around for five days would be enough exercise or something, but I've been trying on my jeans recently and they are all SO TIGHT. Wah.

I suspect it had something to do with me eating two or three packed lunches a day.

WHICH I couldn't HELP, alright? We ordered way too much food and we'd end up giving away ten packs of lunch to one person at the end of the day.

You know I've been thinking about a couple of things, and I figured, I missed out on a LOT of things. It's sort of sad, I think. There are so many could-have-beens and you know I never stop wondering what would have happened if things had been different and I had taken chances.

I missed out on a lot of chances because I was too scared, I think.

I still am.

So, yes. This is my profound but tragic and sad thought for the day. :P
