I can't believe people are paying me $15 an hour to talk to them. About shit. Seriously.

It does require some travel and it is rather tiring if you've worked all day, taking stressful calls and when your new co-worker is too fresh to pull his weight around and if nearly every question via email and call is beginning to turn you very, very racist. I need to remember all customer service jobs are awful because some customers just--yes, you got it--suck. (There's a universal, culturally-insensitive truth for you.)

But nothing does raise your spirits more than Torchwood nearly done and an impromptu waffle toasted in your seven-dollar toaster, topped with whipped cream you bought on whim and just because you can (because they certainly don't have this in most grocery shelves back home), and liberally syrupped with honey in a sachet that your roommate has, for no particular reason.

Torchwood now. :D

That waffle sure looks yummy! *___* I've been getting cravings for sweet foods lately -- but the worst part is that it's always at night when I really want cookies and cake. :S:S

I am nearly done with season one of Torchwood, whee~~ :D It is cheesy and creepy and weevils are ucky, but the show is quite fun.

I KNOW. The second season is showing and I'm all "Why are we still bothering with the aliens? Can't we just fill episodes with team banter and flirting? Please?"

I watch Torchwood all by my lonesome, so with some episodes, I'm practically covering my eyes for a third of the time because of the creepy things that pop out. And then I start fast-fowarding to team interaction bits because they are all so cute and dorky and I think they should have an orgy per Owen's advice (I admit it, I snuck peeks at Season 2 D:).

*giggles* It's a lot of great fun--S2 is so much more lighthearted so far, and makes me wanna skip over the meat of the plots to the points where the team interacts. Ianto is awesome.
