valentine's is temporarily postponed
Feb. 14th, 2008 06:45 amconsidering I've got an appointment with health services to take my stitches out
and I'm having a cup of coffee with a couple
(I third-wheel even here! I should write a book.
Titles can be Third-Wheeling is an Art Form, Tales of the Third Wheel, Three's an Awkward Crowd, etc etc.
) AND a presentation to stress over tonight, as well
. AND the professor is taking the class out to the nearest bar and paying, something I am keen to do with a vengeance
as this class was all kinds of suck and stupid.
So yeah, not today. Screw the world, I'm following my own schedule.
For the rest of you, though, do enjoy today's warm fuzzies.

Date: 2008-02-15 12:57 pm (UTC)Going out with couples is.. weird. Especially when they walk beside you, hand in hand and you're just next to them, being alone. Or when they kiss in front of you - even a quick peck makes my insides turn.
Third-Wheeling is an Art Form, Tales of the Third Wheel, Three's an Awkward Crowd I was laughing so hard at these xD

Date: 2008-02-15 01:52 pm (UTC)A bit, yeah, but it depends on the couples. I've been with some who were pretty sensitive to the fact that, hi, there's another person with them, and I'll forgive them their hand-holding and stuff. Then again, I've also hung out with couples who, despite the fact that they were in a crowded room, would still find a way to make EVERYONE uncomfortable, even THOUGH they weren't even kissing/making out, but I guess that's skill. :|
*snickers* one day, perhaps you might be able to buy it off the bookshelves! :P
