The Good

Animax recently started airing here. As some of yu may know, I was first and foremost an anime fan before I got engrossed with the Harry Potter fandom. It's been a while since I started getting crazy over anime, but as with all first loves, it never really faded away.

Anyway, I decided to check out Animax, which is a 24-hour anime only channel, even though I knew very few of their shows (ie, Chobits and Urusei Yatsura). I happened upon GTO, or B>Great teacher Onizuka, and I fell in love.

I have a new slash craving and it does not stop! I just read two fics, because it's HARD looking for them, but I'm good. They aren't the pairing I like (cross-gen seems to be limited to HP somehow), but I'm good. :D

The Bad

For about four days now, give or take a few, I have not been able to connect to the Internet from the comfort of my own home. It just shows a Cannot Find Server page and then stops at that. Even IF I manage to connect to the ISP, the page remains the same. The bites received and sent remain at a minimum.

I went over to my brother to try and see if I can use his computer instead, which got me into a very heated argument with the little man (Sibling rivalry never did die down), which I won, of course.

I sat down in front of his computer, victorious, while he seethed from a corner. He had just finished chatting, but when I dialed the access number, it kept saying it was Unable to Make a Connection!!!

*cries* I have been reduced to going to internet cafes since then.

Femslashiness

1. My friend's birthday is in a while! :D A friend and I decided to split for her gift, so we're giving her a joint present ala Sirius/Remus. LOL. Thankfully none of my other friends stay too long on the Internet, or else they'll pick up on it and start teasing us. (I tease my friends for the unresolved tension between them.)

2. Another friend is using me as a boyfriend-substitute! First she asks me to drop her off someplace for a meeting, then she asks me to pick her up in another place after. I told her I had to find her a boyfriend, and fast, because she's treading a very fine line. XD
