So I just watched King Arthur this afternoon, after the Accounting Exam That Shall Not Be Talked About... and...

[livejournal.com profile] sailorsimba you ebil person you!!! Thanks to your Harry/Hedwig, I now am the not-so-proud owner of Tristram/His Bird plot bunnies. (He said "Shall we go out again?" to the eagle! On screen! CANON!!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!)

Lancelot and Arthur need to get laid. With each other. NOW. (Someone write me a fic. Or give me a plot bunny. Please?)

I like Keira Knightley, but Guinevere is just not needed in the story. Meh. Clever battle scenes, though. :P

So, so, so... Am watching Mean Girls tomorrow. Alone. Because I don't know anyone who can watch it with me around the time I'm watching it. *shrugs* And somebody told me it's my movie, so I want to see what he meant by that. LOL.

I want to Captain a ship. (Three ships, at least, actually.) In the Off-Topic forums of FAP. *evil smile* Just don't know what to call it (them), though. :P Ah, the fandom love.

Speaking of which, I've realized there's just so much wanking going on in the HP fandom, and I know this idea probably won't sell as much to people, though it should, because HP fandom isn't all wank, but why can't a community be set up solely to, I don't know, point out instances when there is much loff in the fandom? It's probably not going to interest a lot of people, and I can't really think of what to put in it should it ever be a possibility, but it's sometimes disheartening to have all these wanking going on and people thinking it's all wank and no fun, that maybe there should be something that shows people the good side of fandom. Because, well, fandom is fun, when it wants to be.

Not fun at the moment for me ... sorry, probably not what you want to hear.

Sorry about the exam ...

OMG! It is canon! I must watch it now. Glee!

Set up a fandomloff community, and I'd join

Omg must see King Arthur. Now. And don't kill me by saying that my Keira Guinevere is unnecessary!

Would you please take pity on my poor ignorant self and explain what fandom wanking is? I even looked on the fandom wanking website and I am still confused. *is pitiful*

*huggles* S'okay. But I think that's what should be changed around fandom...

LOL. And he looks eerily like Sirius, too. :P

Yes you are. Low moral standards have, erm, influenced me too.

Hee. :P Go! Watch! :D Why would I keel you for what you think? Especiallly since it seems to be the same as I think, unless you meant Guinevere was necessary? :)

Well, I'm not entirely sure about the concrete definition, but mostly fandom wanking is when people in the fandom kind of become bitchy and snarky around each other or just become bitchy and snarky in general. It's very unpleasant to hear about--friendships and reputations are ruined, etc. Sometimes it's also just when some people act in a way that makes other people annoyed with them, or something. I suppose they call it wanking because most people do it, but never in public, and when they do, everyone else knows it's disgusting but they end up morbidly fascinated anyway. *shrugs* And you aren't pitiful. :P

*is not so surprisingly oblivious to the wanking going on* Er, should I know? Or maybe I read it but don't realise it's wanking... meh.

I would join in that community spreading fandom love. Perhaps we can post instances where people have done something for someone else... anything. Like, writing fic, expressing general love, buying paid accounts, er, I don't know. Sounds a little sappy.

And, dude, you have to Captain the ship! *grins* You would make a great captain. *doffs hat*

Nothing particular, really. Just, it usually happens. :P

LOL. Thanks! Maybe I should. :P Hee. But wouldn't it be really fun? Hee. :D

I wanna watch Mean Girls too... I can relate, as I've had mor ethan my fair share of mean girls back in high school.

And King Arthur? If that were the "real" story as all those radio and TV ads claim it to be, there shouldn't even *be* a Lancelot there, since he was just added into the story through the French romances. And since Malory based Le Morte D'Arthur mostly on these French romances, and Malory's version is the most well-known of the Arthurian retellings...

Sorry, Arthurain geek speaking. Lol.

Hey, at least I didn't come up with that one. *grins* And we all know Sirius belongs with Remus, anyway. Maybe Remus'll join in as well? *must outsquick everyone*

Keira is always necessary. Not sure about Guinevere, though.

It's pretty funny, really. As for me, well, there were mean girls, I guess, but I never crossed their path before.

Don't worry, I didn't watch it because I thought it was the real story. :P I found it easier to believe the Le Morte D'Arthur, because I liked them more. :D

Keira's alright. She's pretty. :P As for Guinevere... pfft. Arthur/Lancelot was so going to happen if she hadn't entered the picture. XD

Write smut squick!!! :P I've never been able to stop thinking about the mechanics of Harry/Hedwig since you planted the idea in my head. LOL.

They've been lowered as far as they can be lowered, I think. XP Ah, shagging. *pounces*
