Well. It WAS the lesser evil.
Apr. 11th, 2005 06:42 pmI have weird sleeping habits. Usually I end up going to bed as early as 8pm or 9pm, then I wake up around 2am, when I go online and stay online until I'm called to breakfast, and since summer vacation's started I've been staying online until past noon, and then napping afterward. It's a pig's life, I know, but someone's got to do it.
Well, this afternoon, my mom asked me if I was having strange dreams. I blinked at her, thought back to my strange dreams (which shall be kept to myself, thank you, they're really quite disturbing) and wondered how she could have known about those, and asked her why she was asking. Apparently, our housemaid (who cleans at the crack of dawn for some reason) was outside my room at 5am and she heard giggling coming from my room, although the lights were turned off (I type in the dark) and I was asleep (which I clearly wasn't). This, she reports to my mother, is the second time she's heard it happen, and because she's pretty superstitious, I wouldn't be surprised if she thought some malignant spirit was possessing me in my sleep or something.
I didn't bother to correct her. I thought that telling my mother I was up at 5am and giggling over two fictional male characters getting engaged would have been stranger to hear, at any rate.
