My livejournal is pink yay! I need a header I need a header. Also, for some reason I can't leave comments. *frowns* The "leave a comment" link is strangely missing in the flist. (No one roll their eyes and mutter "A likely story", go see for yourselves. :|) Will fix over the weekend, after I get PS installed and stuff.

ANYWAY. I said once before I'm introducing my flist to Barbie's Cradle, only my CD seems to be MISSING and I only have a couple of songs uploaded to my laptop, SO INSTEAD I'm reccing random local songs. ALL IN ENGLISH, because I'm cool. They're cool. Yes.

   Download because: It's sad and it has a fun melody. Barbie's voice is cool and soothing and it's something you can sing along to.

   A song about a photograph (or something like that :|)

   Download because: She's Tori Amos-ish with a deeper voice.
   
   
3. Just Like A Splendid Love Song
   Artist: Orange and Lemons
   Some Lyrics: Seasons come and seasons go
   Stars will shine and lose their glow
   Download because: You're in love right now. Or you're feeling sentimental. Or you want some feel-good music with a nice mellow male voice.
   
   
4. One Step
   Artist: Parokya ni Edgar
   Some Lyrics: I take one step away
   And I find myself coming back to you
   My one and only, one and only you
   Download because: It's a different sort of song from what one would expect from this band. They're usually more alternative rock-ish, and their songs are often innovative and new. This one's really mellow, though, but I like it well enough.

   Download because: You just want to listen to something upbeat and sweet.
   
   
6. Head Over Heels
   Artist: Isha
   Some Lyrics: Been running so fast
   I nearly lost all track of time
   Download because: It's Head Over Heels in piano. Same pretty voice. XD

   Some Lyrics: The breeze is alright
   So let's go out fly a kite

   Download because: It's nice and cheery and fun and my friend's sister's band. *beams*

Title of number four shows "The Yes Yes Show" rather than "One Step"... wasn't particularly mellow either.

But the other stuff is spiffin. I'm particularly fond of the cover of Head over Heels.
