Hah. Clearly I am bored.

A few realisations came to light today, tumbling together and colliding in such a perfect, timed way that it can be nothing more than Fate's doing. :|

1. There is far too much attention given to Gryffindor and Slytherin, both in canon and in fandom;
   
   
2. There are at least two communities for Hufflepuff fiction: huff_fics and hufflepuffslash, and the release of GoF can only mean a resurgence in an ever-growing popularity of the house;
   
   
3. Despite having the most characters named and given--in Harry's year, at least, we know five boys: Stephen, Terry, Michael, Anthony, Kevin and five girls: Su, Morag, Lisa, Mandy, Padma--Ravenclaw actually has quite a number of underdeveloped characters; and perhaps, the most important:
   
   
4. There is no community for Ravenclaw fanfics. At all. (Well, terrymichael, and I adore that comm to pieces, because HELLO, Terry and Michael, but you know. There are just two of them.)
   
   
5. claw_and_tales: Because you love me, and the Ravenclaw in you. ;) Ew I need to work on advertising. :|

Really? I never thought of that. I just picked Ravenclaw for her house and that was it.

Hee, I know her as a Ravenclaw and a Hufflepuff too, but I figured there were already five girls and that makes it even. Of course, girls are naturally smarter than boys, so there could be a sixth. Then her sister in Hufflepuff. :P
