I got my laptop back! \o/ Last week was actually my most productive, considering especially how internet meant my brother's bright, eye-hurting computer and AGES of begging on my knees for a chance to email something and the basic shit little brothers put their older sisters through. Hahaha there goes productivity again, I was PLANNING to work on three different cases today, but hmmmmmmm. We shall see.

I saw RENT and LOVED IT and oh god, if the musical's better than the movie then I WANNA SEE I WANNA SEE. Is anybody willing to upload the rest of the original Broadway cast soundtrack for me, pretty please? I have Rent, One Song Glory, Light My Candle, Today 4 U, Tango Maureen, Out Tonight, Another Day, Will I, Over the Moon, La Vie Boheme (A, I think), I Should Tell You, Take Me or Leave Me, Without You, What You Own, Your Eyes, Seasons of Love (A also, I think), and Santa Fe. Soooo I think I'm missing Tune Ups? Whatever those are. :| I'll upload if anyone wants these, too. So much love. Love love love. The chemistry and joy and just. The love was there, and wuh. I adored every bit of everything.

My DVD of The L Word started working again. Jenny's whole giggly-little-girl-with-puffy-doll-like-dresses-and-cutesy-mannerisms is freaking me out. She's REALLY creepy. :| Just. Yeah. Randomly.

I can watch House again, because when I gave the laptop to the service center for repair, the first disc of half the first season was there. :| It works now, however, so. Hurrah! With all these things I can watch again, and thank god I finished reading V for Vendetta before the laptop got ruined, I can SO CLEARLY see myself working as diligently and studiously as I have been. :|

You know how a few months ago, practically everyone on the flist was feeling depressed and we all figured there was some sort of universal bad vibes flu going around or something? I'm beginning to think these things happen in collective waves or something. There were at least three people on my flist who started defriending people (See, I read my flist, skip=320, you're breaking my balls, dudes :|), for one thing, and TODAY while I was talking to this dude I hadn't seen for more than a year, he told me that he'd just recently broken up with his girlfriend, that his girlfriend BEFORE her had broken up with HER boyfriend after him (still with me? :|), and that would be the third break-up I've heard this week alone (my hostee brother broke up with his boyfriend last Wednesday) and THEN there was that week when three more or less important people died and THEREFORE THINGS REALLY HAPPEN IN THREES.

Again, just randomly. XD

To prove I really DO read my flist, [livejournal.com profile] ant_power and [livejournal.com profile] jaig (Speaking of which, you're DONE with SCHOOL? LET'S GO OUT!) tagged me for the following meme:

Guilt
What is yours?
Explain yourself
Culinary: Chocolates My parents hide chocolates from me so I must procure them through extra-legal means. :| This means when they walk into my room and there's a HUGE half-eaten bar on my table, I actually AM guilty.
Literary: Dan Brown He's no literary genius, but I can never seem to put him down. I've a policy of "borrow-only" when it comes to him, though, to make myself feel better about reading him at all. :P
Audiovisual: Chick flicks I won't turn my nose up at any stereotypical chick flick, predictable storyline and all. It's just a feel-good thing.
Musical: Sometimes by Britney Spears I know practically every line to this song, and can NEVER stop myself from singing it when it comes up, but ONLY BECAUSE I based a song fic off of this once, a long, long time ago.
Celebrity: Amanda Bynes None of my friends like her, but in the way of teen actresses, I've the most respect for her. Please dear Lord, don't let her get an eating disorder.

Now I tag:-

I seriously don't remember who else HASN'T been tagged already, so I guess I stick back to the [livejournal.com profile] melodramaqueens

:D Sadly, I'm with you on the Britney Spears guilty pleasure bit. I have no idea why, but I know all her songs by heart, and when in the privacy of my basement, sing along to them. I swear, I think there's some sort of brainwashing material in her songs. :p

You liked Rent? I haven't seen it yet- I've been meaning to rent it for awhile now. Guess I now have a reason to do that. :)

Hiding in the basement to sing Britney Spears isn't a bad idea. ;) They're just mostly so... singable. :))

I LOVED it. It was amazing and brilliant and passionate and oh, every emotion dripped off the screen. I have to admit, it felt awkward watching a musical onscreen like that, but though it threw me off a little, I couldn't let it offset how revived I felt watching the whole thing. I could go on gushing forever, but yeah. I watched the movie and loved life and wuh. Love it love it love it. :P
