it's time to fly, tonight the sky's alive
Jul. 16th, 2006 07:27 pmOnly here for a wee bit, as I'm dead tired and need to sleep, though I do promise to read the flist when I wake up again later. I just need to get a few things out of the way:
That's about it. I shall be on my cautious way to bed, because I just know this is the kind of time that's the perfect segueway to a wrecking ball through my bedroom wall. :|
- HAPPY BIRTHDAY,
jaig! You're my favourite fanboy, and I love love love that I can just randomly walk into you while going around university (:D), and ooh, reminds me, I think I owe you a lunch date. (Art thou free tomorrow 1-2:30?) :D I hope you've a happy birthday, and that you've plenty more (that are much happier) to come, and hurrah for you are legally legal! (Not in all countries, sadly, but for now, at least, in the country that counts. :P) *smooches and hugs* - Spent the weekend working on our feasibility study project thing (which is different from the marketing thing) and I won't bore you with the details, but suffice it to say that our weekend work involved bar-hopping and cafe-lounging because we're cool like that. We're confused about where to begin and the workload is terrible, but last Saturday we met up with this really cool guy who gave us a brilliant idea Brian Kinney would be proud of and I'm so excited to go about trying to find a way to solidly make it work. I've turned into a dork, someone help me. :|
- In between bar-hopping last Saturday, I left my groupmates to meet up with my other friends so we could see Dead Man's Chest (Yes, I multi-task going-out-dates, why do you ask? *g*) and it was pretty cool. My flist has seen it already so I'll save the review for never, but oh my god Norrington. And Jack. *general squee*
- My weekend download of Breakfast on Pluto has reached about 59.2%. I suspect I'll be leaving Blaise at home more often now to complete this in time. Cillian Murphy in drag beats nothing else in this world, world. So there. *g* In the meantime, why don't you try listening to Cillian Murphy singing in female alto?
- The Fab Five are coming here, I just found out, and don't ask me what I think Queer Eye for the Straight Guy has done for the gay community, but I wanna go see them, so my friends and I are probably going to try and catch them on Friday. On that note, The Pussycat Dolls and David Sedaris are also coming here, though I've no plans of seeing either. When did things begin happening in this little archipelago in the middle of nowhere? (I've died and gone to heaven thrice in the past: Ethan Zohn, Neil Gaiman, and Jason Mraz. That has to be pretty funky, especially since I love them all utterly and hello, what were the odds of them coming here, right?)
That's about it. I shall be on my cautious way to bed, because I just know this is the kind of time that's the perfect segueway to a wrecking ball through my bedroom wall. :|

IMO the Fab5 have just cemented the stereotypes of gay people, and that means the good, and bad ones. Unforch, only the bad ones really count here because really, the last thing we need is people going omg he's probably going to kidnap me, rape me, and then fix my hair. X0
I HAVE to watch PCD but noes.

Date: 2006-07-17 04:44 am (UTC)Boo for the PCD coming here. They're so skanky. And I bet the tacky-looking lead singer will be playing up her being part-Filipino for media mileage. Pwe.
