I totally did not know that I had a Flickr account until I looked up
descants' and saw that I was signed on. As evylicious. What. :|

On the note of accounts, I do believe my friend still has her Vox invites with her. There are at least two of them, so if anyone would like a Vox account, feel free to tell me.
Originally, and let me be honest here, I only got myself an account--two accounts, actually--because I'm a name hog. :| I happen to like the idea of owning a username everywhere on the internets. Of course, I don't actually own all slumber accounts--Gmail being one very sad example of it--but it helps to think I sort of, mostly, do.
But I like Vox. There's not enough people in it right now and most people aren't using theirs, that's true, but it's a very pretty place to blog. My favourite bits are where it lets users conveniently post photos, audio, video, and whatever else along with their entries. I like the fact that I don't have to upload my photos anywhere else before I can share them with my friends, because I'm really lazy that way. :|

Anyway. :| Last entry's Hands in Pants Project was sadly a bust. Sort of. Melissa found her Jake photo, but apart from that, it seems like there just aren't enough photos of actors with their hands down their pants. (There's only one of Gerard Butler and one of Charlie Hunnam, in case anyone was ever interested to see what people came up with. :|)
unpossibly suggested a Bring Me for actresses with hands on their chests, as a tribute to the minority in my flist.
I'm a very fair person, so. I'm just saying. If anyone has anything to link to, feel free to link away. :|

So I downloaded Vienna Teng's latest album, Dreaming Through the Noise, and I uploaded nearly all of it for Line, sometimes through Gmail, most times through Sendspace, and I do believe most of the links are still good to go, so I thought I'd put my favourites up here too, for everyone else. I even starred them accordingly. :| (Check all the lyrics here.)

Randomly. I would like to change my layout, but I'd rather not get rid of the pink. I could do minimalist, barely-there white and light pinks though. Hmm. Perhaps I'll do Flexible Squares next? When I've time, I suppose.

- Blue Caravan - *****
my true love is a man
who would hold me for ten thousand nights.
in the wild wild wailing of wind,
he's a house 'neath a soft yellow moon.
so blue blue caravan,
won't you carry me down to him soon. - Whatever You Want - *****
she's alone again
but she goes on curating your domestic museum
she disappears in her loyalty
she is a dress wearing a face in a doorway,
opening her arms out to you:
whatever you want is fine by me. - Love Turns 40 - *****
she's holding a truth that she'll never reveal,
because truth this time is an ugly child,
and mother and daughter may reconcile
but their faces will never heal. - City Hall - *****
been ten years waiting,
but it's better late than never
we've been told before.
we can't wait one minute more.
oh me and my baby driving down,
to a hilly seaside town in the rainfall. - Nothing Without You - *****
it's the crowded room that breaks me:
everybody looks so luminous, and strangely young.
it's the crowded room that's never heard. - 1 BR/1 BA - *****
1br/1ba prkg space for extra fee.
my little flock of boxes and I
surrounded by a painted-white unknown.
soon as this wall in my heart comes down,
I'm gonna make it feel like home. - Now Three - *****
city fast asleep.
clouds up on the hill.
so quiet, so still.
dreams of rain in sheets,
dreams of ice and wings.
