'cause the sights that i'm seeing are priceless

One day when I grow up and have enough money, I will buy everything brilliant and fabulous that I have ever downloaded. I shall fill my bookshelves with all the volumes of Sandman, Lucifer, Y the Last Man and Fables. I will have CDs of Vienna Teng, Lily Allen, Stars, The Beautiful South, and The Lucksmiths. I will get the DVD sets of House, CSI, and Queer as Folk.

But right now?

It's a pirate's life for me. Ho ho ho (and a bottle of rum)!

I have a love affair with skirts, but in the you-can-look-but-you-can't-touch sort of way, because all the skirts I want are too too expensive and I'm really trying to save my allowance money--which hasn't changed since I was a freshman in HIGH SCHOOL!--for a rainy day.

Of course, on rainy days skirts can be very useful. :|

I stayed over my friend's house last night to work on a group project. Her brother is the most adorable boy ever--well, not really, but relatively speaking--and I am now no longer single. *cackles*

I need to clean my room because tomorrow, we will have guests! We shall have chips and instant noodles and coffee to sustain us! There shall be cramming and shifting schedules for who gets to sleep! Unless there is to be no sleep! There shall be fretting and printing problems! And we shall all diiiiiiiieeeeeee.

But tonight there will only be mad scrambling to make my room look presentable.

It is distressing how you get reminded of things you'd really not wish to remember because they're supposed to be different and better now but then something reminds you and it's the same fresh feeling of "ARGH STOP IT GO AWAY LEAVE ME ALONE" that makes you want to run far, far away all over again. Bah. Nothing to scrub that feeling away.
