Livejournal Reimburses Paid Time

If your livejournal account was under paid time last November 3 through November 6, which was when LJ experienced downtime and blacked out, then you can go over here to claim your extra week's paid time.

Personally, I've been waiting for this since I became aware of the blackout, but I had no idea it lasted three days. :| WHERE WAS I THEN?

And anyway, I wasn't sure which of the flisters with paid accounts knew about it.

Also, I am slightly ruffled by this news, if only because it means that instead of my account expiring neatly on the first of January, it has now been extended to January 8. :| But I liked having a paid account that ended on New Year's Day. /shallowness.

HP Kris Kringle Sign Ups Open

Now on its third year (Wow, how exciting! A fandom commitment Evy manages to keep! :|), HP Kris Kringle is opening sign-ups to anyone interested in participating in a relatively small theme-drabble/drawble exchange community where those involved are tasked to create a drabble or a drawble based on a theme assigned for each week leading up to Christmas. The only commitment asked for is a minimum of 100 words (or a sketch) for each week, for four weeks.
