The Traditional Year Ender Memes

I'm in a pretty huffy mood because I drank some bad yogurt and now I've slept through the New Year. (Don't believe my date stamp, it is REALLY half past midnight on the first day of the year where I am now. AND I MISSED IT.)
Let me sulk for a while.
Oh, and also, something like an Excess Baggage Removal Meme:

PS: Happy New Year!
Let me sulk for a while.
- What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Used BitTorrent, watched Broadway musicals, gone to the US, joined and won inter-uni competitions, failed a class (technically, though she passed us in the end), dated (and been dumped), dropped a friend, gone to rallies in the uni (haha zomg go me--I still don't care :|), went to Lantern, watched Oblation Run, completed midnight mass, etc etc. - Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't think I had any? I keep putting off making mymission101. :\
- Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope. - Did anyone close to you die?
Nope. - What countries did you visit?
Just USA - What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
I got the drive in 2006, but for 2007 I'd like some follow-through. >_< - What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Huh, maybe January 24, because yeah, my friend still isn't over her break-up. - What was your biggest achievement of the year?
The inter-class marketing competition, I think. Although getting over myself comes a close second, too. - What was your biggest failure?
Feasibility Study, ouch. - Did you suffer illness or injury?
Hm. Nothing really serious that I remember. A semi-stiff neck for the last few months, but that's gone now. - What was the best thing you bought?
Technically, it wasn't my money that bought my iPod or my phone or my hard drive, but I love them all the same. My mother gave me spending money for the US trip and I bought my ticket to Wicked--that pretty much rocked. Although. Post-it flaglets have staying power. - Whose behavior merited celebration?
S, some of the time. :P - Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
I can think of a few, me included. - Where did most of your money go?
I have no idea. I'm inclined to say books, but I'm not so sure. - What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Watching Rent on Broadway. (Never happened though, whoops.) - What song will always remind you of 2006?
Erk, tough one. AHA! Snakes on a Plane, because it just came on and is such a one-hit wonder it's funny. - Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? sadder, this exact time last year, although on a general level, I'm happier.
ii. thinner or fatter? Thinner, but not by much.
iii. richer or poorer? Well, I really have no money on me anymore, but. I saved a bit? And won some money, so richer. - What do you wish you'd done more of?
Study. Write. (Same things as last year, haha.) - What do you wish you'd done less of?
Faffing about. - How will you be spending Christmas?
Like it didn't exist. - Who did you spend the most time on the phone with?
Hm, maybe--I don't know. I don't talk on the phone as often. :\ - Did you fall in love in 2006?
Like I'd know when that happened. - How many one-night stands?
Hah. These things seriously need qualifiers. Or at least, proper definitions. Probably none. - What was your favorite TV program?
GREY'S ANATOMY. - Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I wouldn't call it hate. :P - What was the best book you read?
The Book of Flying, I think. - What was your greatest musical discovery?
Broadway musicals? I don't know, otherwise. Meep. :\ - What did you want and get?
An iPod, and the chance to see both Avenue Q and Wicked. A phone, too, and the hard drive. - What did you want and not get?
Speakers? And to see Rent. I don't know what else. - What was your favorite film of this year?
I'd say Rent and V for Vendetta, but their endings really kind of sucked. :\ Rent, though, if I really had to choose, since I watched it thrice in theaters and that HAS to mean something. :| - What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
On the actual DAY I treated the Fairview Kids out to dinner at Heaven 'n' Eggs before we went to a bar for a couple of drinks. The next day my college-mates and I had lunch before we watched The Departed at the lazy-boy cinema. I turned 20. (Noooooo.) - What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
If I'd done really well on school, I guess, and if there hadn't been a lot of drama. But oh well, the new year's looking much better already anyway. - How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
A little preppier than before. Also, much love with the mini-skirts. :P - What kept you sane?
Sleep. :| Everything went away when I slept, and stayed away for a while until they returned, usually. :P - Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Still Jude Law and Gale Harold. I'm sorry, I really do love them. Can't think of anyone else. - What political issue stirred you the most?
Something very local--the tuition fee increase at uni. :| And stirred me in the sense that I at least had an opinion on it. - Who did you miss?
Charli! - Who was the best new person you met?
Oh, maybe Sam. She's adorable. :P Ethan and Esau if we count the nephews I'd not seen in ages. - Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006:
Your actions have consequences, and you need to be ready to face those. Also, If. - Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
And if I die today I'll be the happy phantom
And I'll go chasin' the nuns out in the yard
And I'll run naked through the streets without my mask on
And I will never need umbrellas in the rain
I'll wake up in strawberry fields every day
And the atrocities of school I can forgive
The happy phantom has no right to bitch
Oooh The time is getting closer
Oooh Time to be a ghost
Oooh Every day we're getting closer
The sun is geting dim
Will we pay for who we been?
