Title: Ten Minutes Later
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Padma/Justin
Length: 100 words
Rating: PG
Warnings: None
Summary: What happens ten minutes later.
Additional Notes: For
ninotsjka_bloom, who requested Padma/Justin and purple.
Edit: For
fanfic100, for the prompt Purple.
There was a fairly large purple bruise on Justin's eye when Padma walked into him in the library, and he shied away from her when she saw it. She sat down beside him and asked him what happened, but he wouldn't say even though they both knew that Padma knew, so Padma took out her wand and uttered a quick healing spell instead.
"You should be more careful," Padma said.
"I know. I'm sorry."
"There's nothing to be sorry about, I--"
"I should have asked."
"Yes, perhaps you should have."
"Padma?"
"Hmm?"
"Do you mind if I kiss you?"

Haha, updating this instead of personal LJ because of a very petty reason. *cough*wanttoskip16thforcalendarpattern*cough* But, yeah, that's the theme of everything, isn't it?
Bah. I hate when people become petty, and they do things that aren't outright evil or cruel but are motivated by evil intentions anyway. I'm pretty patient when it comes right down to it, and I always pretend I'm too stupid or idealistic not to think people are being awful, but I never really stop being suspicious of people. So, yeah. Mostly I let people be - their business and all, and so what if I'm concerned? As long as I'm not directly hurt or whatever, right, I've no time to stoop to whatever level they're on.
But sometimes, though, patience runs thin.
Excuse me while I scream into my pillow for a bit. I ought to be better in a while.
