I'm with you on that. One of the things I hate most about my brilliant plans is not being able to gloat about my brilliant plans because the best plans are the ones that no one notices being enacted. Sigh.
I monologue a lot. I run my own business with my best friend and we monologue a lot when we are planning ahead. You have no idea how much more fun it is to talk about the Quarterly numbers in the evil villain voice and go on and on about what you plan to do in the next month. Totally better than a typical boring business meeting, let me tell you.
I monologue because if I don't, I can go through an entire day without speaking. Unfortunately since I rarely have an audience, I monologue to myself. (If I monologue in a forest, and no one is around, does it still count?)
