slumberMostly RL stuff...
Was checking Friendster today, and decided to look at past bulletin board messages. Since I friended my little brother and wanted to see him when he's with his friends, I checked out this survey he posted, and found out that he's been in love.
WTF?
My brother is fifteen years old. FIFTEEN. And he's been in love.
I am in awe.
Mostly because I'm way past his age and *I've* never been in love, and I never considered the soirees and interactions high schools like the ones we went to substantial for the foundation of any real relationship or emotion. And love is a very strong word, and there's the older sister in me worrying over him like that. And it just provokes so many questions: Who was it? Did it last? Does she know? Did they have a relationship? Who broke it off?
And damn. I wish my brother and I were closer. *sniffs*
I've started packing for Malaysia. *glances over open suitcase in middle of room, with pile of clothing on top and discarded hangers strewn about*
I think I'm bringing too many clothes. And perhaps I should start folding them in..
And oh, here's the HP bit:
I've downloaded After the End, the R/Hr bible that I've been putting off reading. *is sheepish* Might print it out and read it on the plane, but I may also keep it until after I come back, because I have to catch up on all the GW stuff I have to read as well. And I might as well start downloading Rising from the Ashes too, which is a highly recommended D/G that I ought to see first if I am to try exploring D/G. And I must follow Rouen's orders and start on Beautiful World as well, which is the H/D she promised me is brilliant and absolutely finished. (Have a bit of problem with WIPs as they cruelly leave me hanging and I am reduced to thwapping my head on the keyboard.)
And, er, yeah. I'm a multi-shipper. :D Which is a good thing, considering I would never have considered the HP Dungeons (how *do* you make links to communities?) otherwise. Which leads me to...
the HP Dungeons: (Well duh. ;P)
I've inadvertently offended Percy when I asked Harry if he was either drugged or drunk when he danced with him. Apologized, explained I meant that Harry shouldn't have been dancing with anyone at all considering he was attached, and thankfully Percy accepted it.
Harry asked Ron to sleep with him. Of course, this was all when he was very very drunk and he only meant innocently. He asked Ron to come over and would he like to sleep on the bed with him please. LOL. Harry's pretty cute when drunk. Too bad it's because he broke up with Mikhail, who is apparently not as good as he seemed at all.
Draco is pretty disappointed because Snape hasn't asked him out again. We keep telling him not to think about it, and he says he's not blaming himself, but in the next breath wonders if it's because he called Snape by his first name. *rolls eyes* And he says he hasn't got it bad for Snape. Move over, Harry, the Nile isn't big enough for you and Draco.
The reason Snape hasn't been asking Draco out again is because Lucius has gotten wind of their date and perhaps the kiss as well, and has sent an owl to Snape, as a sort of warning. Been giving Snape second thoughts, I presume. The exchange of owls between the two is very intense. Witness the real Slytherin repartee here. Run for cover, don't get stuck in the crossfire!
