Beautiful World

I tried printing Beautiful World but my printer is not working. I don't know what's wrong with it. *is frustrated*

Have taken to reading Beautiful World anyway. Am up to chapter 6, and am finding it quite amusing. Sort of like Underwater Light in "friendship theme", only quicker in getting to the slash and without Draco's blatant snark. Very interesting concept, and I like the subtlety employed so far. :D

Real life: Get-together with friends

Saw some of my old friends in high school today. We watched a vid clip of the opening theme of Card Captor Sakura (any anime fans out there in my flist, besides [livejournal.com profile] briannadarknite?), then watched a LIVE VIDEO version of the clip with MEN instead of Sakura and Tomoyo. Split my sides laughing, and am currently very thankful CCS isn't showing here anymore, else I'll *never* see it quite the same way again. LOL.

Packing is done!

Finished packing! Will be leaving house tomorrow at 11 am. Packed American Gods in, since BW is unavailable for reading.

Friends told me to steer clear of any canals, and please keep my sense and not ride a bike. (I once fell into a canal while riding a bike when I was in Japan, because I didn't know how to make a right turn and the canal was hidden by tall grass and I didn't really know how to ride a bike then. Er. Right.)

Random t00biness

Almost tripped on my way out of the room, by stepping on my own foot. Almost, being the operative term. ^_^;

It's a wonderful fic -- but in case no one has warned you yet, be sure to have tissues at the ready.

CCS is absolutely adorable -- but what is this video clip thing? *is curious*

I once ran into a sign and knocked it down while learning to ride a bike -- but I never completely learned since my back tire exploded and that shocked me into giving up bike-riding entirely. ^^;;

I actually have tripped over my feet (and not just once) -- quite embarassing, I assure you. -.-

*shuffles feet* I, uh... didn't cry. But that was because I thought, when Harry turned back, and walked backward, that he was actually backing away from Lily instead of the other way around. *sheepish grin* Took me two attempts to get the ending properly done, and by then the mood was broken. *thwaps head on keyboard for being so stupid*

The last sentence was chilling though. Loved it. Haunts me. *is pleased stupidity didn't totally ruin everything*

You know the opening theme of CCS? Well, a guy dressed up as Sakura imitated the whole thing, scene for scene. A MAN. Late twenties to early thirties, prancing around the streets of Japan in Sakura's uniform (Not only that, he managed to get actors for Kero-chan, Yukito, and Tomoyo too!). I have no idea where it came from, but my friend burned it on a CD and we watched it yesterday.

that shocked me into giving up bike-riding entirely. ^^;;

Hear, hear. ;P Actually, after some men got me out of the canal (which was in a ditch of sorts and was therefore impossible for me to climb up alone), I rode the bike the rest of the way home. I figured lightning doesn't strike the same place twice. LOL.

quite embarassing, I assure you. -.-

At least last night I was alone... *pats [livejournal.com profile] meemobunny* I feel for you. :)

Anime fan? OOO pick me, pick me!
Ok. Now that my inner child has been satisfied...
CCS is quite possibly my favorite anime ever. That clip thing sounds absolutely hilarious. You should find out where your friend got it.
