HELP!

Crap. I need help.

Can anyone please please please tell me where I can get a webhosting place that doesn't have ads? Brinkster suddenly inserted ads in their websites, and it is doing horrible things to the Quills site, over here.

At the very least, do you know any sites that provide pop-up banners? I'm super desperate, and I hate having to subject visitors to ads, but if Brinkster is going to stick em in every page and ruin the frames structure of Quills, then I want to move.

I think you're going to have a hard time finding one, to be honest. But domain hosting is only about $5 a month - you get an ad-free site *and* a domain name, so it's usually worth looking into... it's only a couple of chocolate bars less a month, after all ;)

I know it *is* pretty tough. That's why I'm going to try to look for hosts that offer pop-ups, at the very least. Or someone else who can offer hosting.

My problem with paid accounts is the manner of paying... I really don't feel comfortable with credit card transactions online. (Yech. I sound like my mother!) *winces* I may have to look into it, though.

You can ask someone to host you -- a lot of people do that for free. (ask eclipses or postingwhore for more details if you choose to do so because they know more about this than I do ^_~)
