Yesterday and Tomorrow

Was out in Yet Another Christmas Party with friends yesterday. These were the people in my old high school whom I am not particularly close to, but have great fun with anyway. Was touched because some of them gave me Christmas presents; all I had was cake for everybody. :D We were a smaller bunch than usual, the date being late and all, but it was still quite merry.
They're mostly anime artists, and are currently addicted to deviantART.com. Oh well, they got me to join, (I'm ms-slumber) but with the number of things I *already* do on the Internet, I don't think I'll be incredibly active there, if at all. (Heaven help me, they're luring me with SLASH!HP!Fanart.. *gulps*)
Tomorrow
Tomorrow, will be sleeping over in a girlfriend's house, sipping mocha-lattes-that-are-really-alcoholic and being all Bridget Jones-y. Yeah. LOL. Pathetic, much? We want to wallow in our mock miseries.
A third friend will be there, and when she found out what it is we planned on talking (ie, whining) about, she made this disgusted look you could hear over the other end of the line saying "Pathetic", and told us she doesn't have time to worry about trivialities like that.
Well I know these are trivial, but I haven't been shallow enough in my life. Sometimes I just have to be a brat. ;)
