Silver Linings
Jan. 27th, 2004 09:30 amStill cannot connect to the Internet at home. Still stuck to Internet cafes. *grumble grumble*
On the up sides though, I think perhaps Whoever Is Responsible For All This Misery is feeling a little bit guilty and giving me plenty of silver lining to outshine the dark grey clouds...
1. My professor came to class yesterday with a stud in his right ear. I asked my friends if it was a manly thing to do, and their answer was that it was bordering.. It was something like diamond, but most likely just cubic zirconium, so for the whole period I stared at his ear and wondered how it got there. I finally came to the conclusion that during weekends, he must be going by some diva name and waltzing around in clubs with shiny dresses and sparkly jewelry and that on Sunday he got swept up by the moment and forgot himself and woke up at morning late for class and he was STILL in his dress so he had to hurry up change but he forgot to remove one of his earrings and he had to wear it throughout the whole day without anyone saying anything because they were trying to decide if diamond (or cubic zirconium) studs weremanly or gay.
2. I'm missing only three more awards, and that's that. I have all the results and I'm bursting to tell them because I truly am excited to have this contest finished and done with because then there's that feeling of accomplishment or something, right? only three more awards left. *is particularly excited* I hope I get them by Wednesday, as I'd have no more time after that.
3. After mnths of complaining my life is boring because I don't even have anyone to lavish attention on or something, I have found someone worthy to be my sekrit crush in real life, and I cannot believe I forgot all about him until I saw him an hour ago as he was jogging around campus. *drools* Not the muscly type, but he's pretty lean and fit and man! I could not stop smiling after. PLUS he's very smart, and sweet, and nice, and cute, and tall, and so what if he isn't Chinese? XD He's my friend's friend, though, so not so much contact. Poo.
