I was eating chocolate in my room the other night, and I left it on my table.
Ants are now crawling on it.
GAAAHHH!! But it was wrapped up! And it's milk chocolate, too... *looks sadly at ant-infested chocolates*
I am a slob. Maybe I should clean my room.
Ooh, and later we're going to church, because the priest called my mom and asked her to attend, and I've been asked to attend, too. But Mass doesn't quite feel the same way before, and mostly I just drift off, and that's when I begin plotting fics and getting ideas--
Perhaps I really will go to Mass after all. >:D
ETA: My dad's confining himself to the hospital for an endoscopy. (Icky details so I won't elaborate.) His intestines may be bleeding or something, but we don't know for sure.
I have no idea what brought this about. My dad is the healthiest person I know--he exercises regularly, he eats healthily, he goes to marathons, and he's almost fifty-three. (His birthday is coming soon: May 18.) I can't say I'm scared, but I'm a bit worried. I'm sure this is nothing, but my dad's never been sick, and I've never seen either parent in a hospital before. (Well, he'd probably not look sick, but still. HospitalGown!Dad?)

Date: 2004-05-12 08:58 am (UTC)Wah. Thanks. :) I hope so too. Irony in the whole thing is my dad's a doctor, and this is his first time on the different side of the hospital.

Date: 2004-05-12 01:13 pm (UTC)It took me about three weeks to be able to visit my grandad last year, and I shook the whole time.
(Plus hospital = microbes on every surface (I'm a little contamination-paranoid))
*hugs*
Also, we have ants in our kitchen every year...until my dad blowtorches them! They crackle as they burn!!!!
