WE HAVE BEEN SPOTTED!!!
Jun. 8th, 2004 03:45 pmI saw this yesterday, in our local paper (which has a pretty big distribution). Shipmates, friends, countrymen, we have been spotted!
H/D is now mainstream! YAY!!! Go us! *does crazy weird dance*
Note: "Pwedeng makibasa?" translates to "Can I read it?"

I texted the artist, Lyndon Gregorio, last night and asked his permission to post it, considering issues regarding IPR and stuff, and he gave his approval, so now here it is! He's a comic strip artist and his series, Beerkada, is pretty new (a few years old). Which is good, too, because it's fresh, and I've always liked the humor and the art, and he graduated from my university. *is proud* His website, if you're interested in his work (Some of the strips are in English. :D) is Beerkada.Tk.
Mr. Lyndon, if you're reading this right now, thanks for allowing me to post it here. :) This was so cool, and it came out yesterday at the most perfect time! (In the Fictionalley.org forums, where some of us fans hang out, the thread for the Harry/Draco fans just overtook another thread, for Draco/Hermione fans) in terms of number of threads, and since we're now the third largest thread, all of us were in a highly celebratory mood. Yes, we get high on things like that. ;P Thanks.)

Date: 2004-06-12 05:51 pm (UTC)I officially deny reading any form of slash fiction, esp. H/D.
And oh, yes: I also deny wearing women's lacy underwear, esp. those silk-pearl thongs with off-white lace stockings and matching corset that accentuates my lush curves.
That is a complete fabrication made by my enemies. It is simply not true.
I watched DAWN OF THE DEAD, where flesh-eating zombies take over the world. There is a visual image on my mind that they also read H/D.
Chilling.
