Happy Morning, Glorious Day
Jun. 16th, 2004 03:44 pmI love Wednesdays. First of all, I haven't got any classes, only a general assembly at noon. Secondly, I get to watch CSI in two stations. Thirdly, I now have a brilliant Wednesday ritual to look forward to.
Dropped my brother off at his school. Five minutes away from reaching the high school, mother dearest called and told us his uniform is in the house. (Boys' uniforms are a polo, slacks, and undershirt. Brother wears undershirt in car, puts on polo just before he gets out of car. He left his polo at home.) He ended up buying a polo today. *rolls eyes* If it were me, I wouldn't have ever forgotten my uniform. (Then again, I had to remember, because I wear it before leaving the house. Otherwise, I'd be going out in a chemise. Hee.)
Had breakfast at Starbucks around 9:00, as general assembly (GA) does not begin til 12. Had healthy Tazo Hot Tea and mouth-watering Ham and Cheese Croissant, before settling down to read Angels and Demons. Partway through I realized I didn't want to read, but still had time to kill anyway, so took out pen and paper and started jotting down ideas for a fic. (Ideally I should have jotted down a fic, but this was my first day of the Wednesday Ritual!) After two and a half hours of labor I produced the clearest outline I've ever written for a fic I only thought up of yesterday, which I hope to be working on soon enough. It's the most productive I've felt in a really long time. :D
Then there was the GA, which only lasted an hour, and which was much fun as I love the people there. Then I went home, where I am right now.
I plan to go around FAP and LJ for a bit, then study (YAY I have time!), then either write or watch CSI. (Except TV's broken. Must wait till it's fixed, but ah well.)
To make this Wednesday in particular even more glorious, I find confirmation from JKR that Blaise Zabini is a boy. *dies from happiness* Blaise makes a pretty blonde girl, but as a boy, he's perfect. That, and I love being right. All that's left is for JKR to write in R/Hr, really. :P (Apologies to H/Hr shippers in my flist. I still love you! :D *huggles*
