Apparently, the JKR-approved Ancient Greek translation of Harry Potter uses "Malakos" as the translation of Malfoy. A couple of things you need to know about "Malakos":

1. Its literal translation is "weak" and "effeminate"
2. In the New Testament, according to ataniell93, "malakos" is the term they use to mean homosexual.

You can't see it, but a big grin is plastered on my face right now. :D

Question Regarding Gmail:

Erm, it works like LJ codes used to work, right? But I heard people get fewer invites than others--what decides this? And how does one know that one has invites to give away? Thankees. :D

I think the invites are kind of random. They give them out when they want to expand the service, as it's still in beta-testing. At least that's what I've heard.

When you get invites, a link will show up at the top of your inbox to "invite users" or something like that. If you click that, a window will pop up telling you how many invites you have and allowing you to use them.

Ooh, I can answer the gmail question! I've only had it for a few days so I don't have any invites as of yet.

We've figured that it depends on how much you use your account. The more you use it, the more invites you get (we think, we're not completely sure).

When they give you more invites you'll have a link at the bottom of your inbox (or so they say in the FAQs which were overly difficult to find).

I had a quick look at that theory. It's very interesting, actually, although I get the feeling that it's adding two and two together to make five.

I liked some of the points it brought up - I especially liked the fact that it gave an explanation for Harry's recognising Tom's name when he'd never heard it before (this has been bothering me for ages). A lot of thought has obviously gone into it. Still...I don't know. I wouldn't put my money on it, personally.

But Ron so is Dumbledore!
