I am doing teh memes everybody on my flist seems to be doing currently. Because I am sheep. Meeeehh.
ETA: Because it is FATE!!!
Wah RON! *basks in Ron love* He's always been my favorite character, hee. :P
out_of_the_fire is going along splendidly. Michael Corner is snarky! And a wee bit of the Blaise/Padma shipper in me sees a tiny bit of hope yet. LOL.
*eyes pop out* Ron's best friend apparates in front of Blaise, kisses him passionately, and then disappears? *cackles* (Aw, I didn't know Harry cared. LOL.)
*cough*
green_fairy_ I swear I didn't touch anything!
But whee! Blaise is loved!
ETA: Cracked me up.
*glares at
wizardchessking* Thanks a lot, Ron. At least Blaise doesn't love him THAT much.
Here's a pretty long conspiracy theory regarding BOok 6, if anyone wants to see. You know the Ron=Dumbledore theory? This one's even stranger: Harry=Lord Voldemort. Check it out if you've got time, and then tell me if it made sense. :P
More SLASHY Subtext YAY!
This one's from
wayfairer.
Apparently, the JKR-approved Ancient Greek translation of Harry Potter uses "Malakos" as the translation of Malfoy. A couple of things you need to know about "Malakos":
1. Its literal translation is "weak" and "effeminate"
2. In the New Testament, according to
ataniell93, "malakos" is the term they use to mean homosexual.
You can't see it, but a big grin is plastered on my face right now. :D
Question Regarding Gmail:
Erm, it works like LJ codes used to work, right? But I heard people get fewer invites than others--what decides this? And how does one know that one has invites to give away? Thankees. :D
And, yes. Spam me. Please. :P

Date: 2004-07-12 11:00 am (UTC)When you get invites, a link will show up at the top of your inbox to "invite users" or something like that. If you click that, a window will pop up telling you how many invites you have and allowing you to use them.

Date: 2004-07-12 11:05 am (UTC)A link and pop-ups. It sounds like one of those things where you "win" something online. LOL. Great, thanks! :)

Date: 2004-07-12 10:57 am (UTC)We've figured that it depends on how much you use your account. The more you use it, the more invites you get (we think, we're not completely sure).
When they give you more invites you'll have a link at the bottom of your inbox (or so they say in the FAQs which were overly difficult to find).

Date: 2004-07-12 02:17 pm (UTC)I liked some of the points it brought up - I especially liked the fact that it gave an explanation for Harry's recognising Tom's name when he'd never heard it before (this has been bothering me for ages). A lot of thought has obviously gone into it. Still...I don't know. I wouldn't put my money on it, personally.
But Ron so is Dumbledore!

Date: 2004-07-14 11:08 am (UTC)LMAO. And I'm sure using a dog and a wolf, only teh ancient symbols for homosexuality, for Sirius' and Remus' animal forms, is no coincidence either. :P JKR is SO a closet slasher. :D

Anyways I'm not much of a slash shipper, but Rice is trying her best to convince me! She's getting there. I'm almost ready to read femmeslash now!
Ah, the changeling theory! I can see where they are coming from. I can see this one. I read a nice piece about that theory on mugglenet, but I can't get on that site anymore...
