General Stoning of 50free.com

The HP Fic Contest I set up last year, .::Quills::., is gone. Just like that. 50free.com deleted it and took it all away, because I wasn't able to renew the account. (Who renews accounts monthly, anyway?)

I don't really love 50free all that much. I mean, it's nothing great. But meh. I don't like going through the process of having to contact every single site that has linked itself to .::Quills::. and telling them it's changed addresses. Plus, that would mean even more work with the publicity and promotions shit. I mean, wah!!! I like the fact that .::Quills::. is linked, but what happens when people try to visit it and see it's gone? And I don't even remember half the sites it's been linked from, or the email addresses associated with them! *STRESS*

*takes deep breaths*

I'm off to find a new bannerless, ad-less, stress-free site with short URLs for easy recall now.

I don't know where to start. Help?

I may be able to offer you a subdomain, depending on how much space you need. So how much space do you need?

Really? I've been looking around some, and I've also emailed a girl who offered way back in December, but I haven't received any replies yet. Just in case though, the site as it is is only around 1.5mb, because I don't host the fics there. I'm guessing it won't go past 10mb, to be safe. :)

Yay, thanks! :) I'll email you as soon as I've heard back from the other people I've emailed regarding this. (There's a girl who offered back in December, and I want to see if she's still interested.
