Because I Cannot Decide
Oct. 20th, 2004 06:57 pmRandom Happy Christmasy Thoughts
I'm feeling Christmasy today. I always do once I begin shopping for presents. And I have bought a couple of presents today, whee! :D
Also, I watched Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. It's such a pretty pretty movie, like they did the whole thing in Photoshop, only, you know, better. Plus, with my new appreciation of Jude Law? Hee. Aaaand!!! Everything was just so fun and cute and w00t! *loves upon* Watched it alone, though I know I could have asked some friend or other to watch it with me. *shrugs* I like being alone?
I bought myself Calendar Girls and Supersize Me, too. I was supposed to buy myself The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish, because I'd been looking for it since forever, but I decided to see if I still wanted to buy it after I've seen the movie, and when I came back down, I decided to go to the video store instead, and that's when I bought the two movies. They were cheaper, anyway, though probably not very pretty. :P
And Then There's A Poll
Oooh, I need to make a decision. Pay Pal is an arse and has not set up office in this country, so I cannot purchase anything online. I don't have a credit card of my own, and my mother will flip if I use hers (even if I'm willing to pay for them, which I am), and I don't have a checking account either. I've decided the best way to go about purchasing anything (and I've really been wanting to purchase a couple of things and have even set aside money for them already) is via money order. Initially I thought I could try to buy something under $5 first, just to see if it works (hee), and then I could buy the bulk later, except.
Now, the thing with international money order is that it can only be done in the main office of our Postal Service, which is a good two hours away. I've never tried doing money order before, and I've never tried going to that office before either, and now I am faced with two options and I don't know which one I should do. Am I supposed to go with the original plan, which now means I've got to go to the main office twice (which kind of seems a waste for the first trip, if I'm buying something under $5), or do I just buy everything in one go?
Please make my decision for me. XP

Reasons for Liking LJ:
19. It's like a PA system. If you want to announce something, just say it.
20. If you put your cursor over the userpics in comments pages, you can see the key word (or is it comment?) for it. (What? It's perfectly fascinating!)

I suppose that rain isn't so bad though... *snickers* Mwahahahaha.
