It's been a year since I last drew -- maybe spring is just drawing season?

I had way too much fun coloring her hair.

Because the one she wore in the movies just did not really translate well in PS tbh >.>

I loooooved the texture of her dress but alas, it does not come larger than that.

CLOTHES ARE SO HARD.

One of the prompts in [livejournal.com profile] hh_sugarquill is Costumes, and immediately my thought went to Disney.

Still on the costumes kick. Imagine Hermione watching Beauty and the Beast -- she'd have been 11/12 when it came out. IMAGINE IT.

Title: Dead Men Walking
Characters: Harry, Luna, Theodore, Zacharias
Rating: PG-13 for violence
Word Count: 4521
Summary: Of all the things that she believes in, Luna Lovegood wants this on record: she is very sorry it's the zombies that turn out to be real.
Additional Notes: SO. MUCH. FUN. Written for [livejournal.com profile] hp_zombiefest and originally posted here. Thanks to C & S for their feedback, and A for the eagle-eyed beta job. ♥ Hope you enjoy reading!

It is in Harry Potter's humble opinion that he’s spent an inordinate amount of his life waking up in hospitals. )

Title: Do You Believe in Snorkacks?
Fandom: Harry Potter
Author-turned-pseudo-artist: [livejournal.com profile] slumber
Pairing: Luna/Hermione
Rating: PG13
Medium: Colored markers
Summary: "You'll need to be very, very quiet, or else the crumple-horned snorkacks will take more than your shoes."
Additional Notes: Drawn for [livejournal.com profile] hpsauce at [livejournal.com profile] hp_april_fools over at IJ. Started out completely different (and much more detailed) in my head but lack of art materials, proper scanning tools, Photoshop skills, and actual artistic ability produced this instead. LOL. Whatever. There are skirts involved, and ties, too, so I am happy. Originally posted here.

Title: Hogwash
Pairing: Remus/Luna (sort of)
Rating: G
Word Count: 109
Summary: Luna stays over Christmas holidays, even when Sirius Black is on the prowl.
Additional Notes: Written as a pinch-hit for [livejournal.com profile] hp_kris_kringle.

Few people stayed at Hogwarts that Christmas, which isn’t entirely surprising. The parents had been terrified about the news of Black’s escape and the rumours that he’d managed to penetrate even the walls of Hogwarts, and had insisted their children come home.

Some, however, still stayed over.

“Oh, Father believes that whole thing’s hogwash,” Luna told him when he asked, right after she’d sat primly beside him and wished him a merry Christmas. “He’s trying to expose the Minister’s heliopath army. Professor?”

Remus blinked. “Yes?”

“You’d better move away, you’re right under a mistletoe and the nargles can be vicious.”

Title: Blame the Nargles
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Hermione/Luna
Length: 200 words
Rating: PG
Warnings: None
Summary: Christmas spirit helps, a bit.
Additional Notes: I wasn't going to post any more drabbles because I figured you guys would be sick of all the requests I've been putting up :P but then I realised this one was a Christmas drabble, so haha. This goes out to everyone. Happy Holidays!
Edit: For [livejournal.com profile] fanfic100, for the prompt Where?

Hermione found Luna standing directly underneath a mistletoe on the day before students were to leave Hogwarts for the holidays, head tilted up, blue eyes wide, waist-length dirty blonde hair hanging loosely back and mouth slightly open. She stood watching for a few minutes, and Luna stood gaping at the mistletoe for the whole time.

Hermione cleared her throat.

Luna kept staring.

Hermione shook her head.

"Do you see?" came the softest voice.

"I beg your pardon?"

"The nargles," Luna went on, as if she'd been talking to Hermione all this time. "Look, they're hiding behind the leaves, but I saw a flutter of a nargle just a second ago."

There are no such things as nargles, Hermione would have said, but the words died in her throat at the mesmerised look that lit up Luna's face. It must have been the Christmas air, because Hermione didn't feel like spoiling Luna's fun.

"No, I'm afraid I didn't see them," she said instead, taking a few steps to stand beside Luna, and looking up briefly. "I bet they're hiding now, since you've spotted them."

Luna looked down from where the nargles lived, and looked at Hermione with an odd expression. "Mistletoe."
