PS. No, seriously, tell me what's going on in your life, I really need to know or else I won't be able to figure out what you're talking about in your LJs anymore and then I'd feel kinda stupid because I'm a terrible friend. :|

And how the fuck do I write Gaiman a letter? His site's useless wah I want him to know the 'special 1 of a thousand edition written by Gaiman' note I got with my copy of Anansi Boys was sweet. :|

Date: 2005-10-05 11:35 pm (UTC)And he was acting listless and drinking a LOT (ounce of water one night, and we're talking a critter who weighs about four ounces, tops) and gained a bit of weight recently, and Campbells Dwarf Hamsters (what he is) have a pretty wicked tendancy towards diabetes due to stupid breeding in the past.
And I've discovered that, as soon as you figure out what they're like normally (personality, etc) it's not that hard to figure out if critters are feeling...off...mostly because they start acting weird, hiding, picking at their food, whatever. And after that is what vets are for. Heh.
