Here's a rec for Sherlock Holmes meta!fic.

The prompt: Sherlock is a well-known fanartist whose online antics always land him on fandom_wank. John's a beloved BNF fanfiction author. They meet at a convention; geeky love ensues.

What ended up coming out of this was a long fic about fandom, wank, and community. There are actual journals made for all the characters. holmeschat is a real thing now. There are twitter accounts, devArt accounts, and a TVTropes page.

EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL.

I love this fic so much! I discovered it last week and have since read all of it and all of the entries in all the character journals (people made the actual LJs and there RPing it now in case you haven't made it to that part yet. It all makes me think very fondly of that HP RP from back in the day (except they weren't in fandom)).

Haha, that got babbly. Anyway. YES. So much awesome! I never want it to end.

I'm going to get into the character journals soon (I LOVE that that happened, hahaha, my brain is near ready to explode from the meta-ness of it all) but I just want to hug this fic and cuddle it and keep it foreverrrrrrr. :P
