Angry alpha male is shirtless a lot of the time! Also, he stalks. And glowers. And nearly everyone is shirtless at one point! The producer tried/is trying to make the show as non-heteronormative as possible (one of the popular jocks happens to be gay, and is best friends with the captain of the lacrosse team, and no one seems to give a shit. Also, he is the sanest person on the show.) and the showrunners have actively bribed the fandom by dangling the ship in front of them so even if actualfax gayness doesn't happen the relationship between show and fandom is at least of mutual admiration? LOL.
oh hey, teen wolf is ALL OVER my dash, so i thought i'd give it ago 'cause i am starting to ship stiles/derek without even having watched it. i have only watched the first ep so far... as anticipated, i liked stiles. but i wasn't that into it otherwise! i guess i should carry on? :|
You should! It's completely silly and they're incredibly self-aware and the show is interesting because the creator set out to make a world that wasn't heteronormative. It's not utterly flawless, of course, but the fandom seems really awesome and incredibly talented and the cast members are fantastic and oh, oh, the women (though there are few of them) are super kickass.
